Happy Happy Wedding Day!
-
This is going to make me sound uber-geek (which I am, but still...), but I love the simple lakeside wedding at the end of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. It's just so pretty, overlooking Lake Como. http://www.travelplan.it/img/como01.jpg

I've never actually met anyone, but I was at a Raptors basketball game about twelve years ago and Jason Priestley was across the stadium from where I was sitting. About fifteen minutes before the end of the game, he and his bodyguards left through the entrance that was about twenty feet from my seat. He noticed that the group I was with were all looking his way and waved at us. I was completely awestruck. My husband however, met Dan Ackroyd when he was working at an ice cream shop downtown. He served him a cone, chatted a bit, and when the store closed for the night, he and the rest of the staff joined Dan for some drinks at a club down the street. Said he was a really nice guy, and really funny.

I try to do this as well, and make a point of giving books in an attempt to encourage children to read. I hope to do more to advocate literacy among children, once I have a little more time on my hands or a little more money. I often had the chance to do storytime at a local bookstore, and help out with March break activities at the same store when I was still in school, but haven't done so for a while.

I got a BA in English from Carleton University in Ottawa (GO RAVENS!!! They didn't do so well this year, but for the past few years they've won the Basketball championships) I also got a diploma from Algonquin College (Library Information Tech), also in Ottawa, but I'm not sure what their team is, or if they have one

Number 10 are my favourite, but then I love pearls so I may be biased. But looking at the dress and the veil, I think the colouring of the pearls in #10 just go best with the whole package. -
There were a number of reasons behind our decision, the biggest one being that it has been my dream since I was six years old to get married on the beach in Bermuda. I lived there twice while I was growing up (military brat), so it was a bit like going home for me. The cost factored highly into our decision as well. We had looked at doing a wedding at home, but after factoring in family who would have to be invited to an at home wedding(my mom has 10 brothers and sisters, my dad has 6...plus spouses, and kids...and then my husband's family, another 10 aunts and uncles plus families...oy), the ridiculous price of EVERYTHING once the word wedding is tacked onto it, and just not being able to get excited about any location nearby, we came right back to the beach in Bermuda idea. We also wanted a small wedding, and the destination factor definitely allowed us that (16 guests total, perfect). There was no obligation to invite all the extendeds, and while some people got their feathers ruffled, it really wasn't about them.

Mini beach bag Place Card Holders?

The only place in Saskatchewan is Michael's and they want an arm and a leg for it. ~~ You might try looking at some of the dollar stores in your area, I know I've seen some shells at the ones near me. Can't remember if there were any starfish, but it can't hurt to look! -

I swear, on Friday night, our last night in the apt, I almost had a panic attack because it felt like we were living in a trash house - boxes every where, a total mess....ick, I can't even think about it. Ha, I hear that. We had so many boxes, Timm had to make a path from the kitchen to the front door just so we wouldn't be trapped! I felt so claustrophobic I don't know how I survived! But sorry for you, Jennifer, and others in moving mode, just think how nice it will be when you're done and sitting on your couch in your new living room with a glass of wine! Ahhhhh Already eagerly anticipating! Only three weeks til the couch gets here!

As much as I love the final result of a move, I hate all the hullaballoo leading up to it: the packing, the constant presence of cardboard dust, the lifting, the aching muscles, the never being able to find anything because it's all packed somewhere...have I left anything out? The past two weeks have been so full of all of this, I just felt I needed to get it out somewhere. And since so many of you gals are in the process of moving yourselves, I thought what better place than right here? Needless to say, things are finally starting to come together...there are still boxes EVERYWHERE, hubby's tools have taken up permanent residency in the living room (until the new couch comes in, then they are moving whether he likes it or not), and I still can't find my housecoat! But being in the house is soooo much better than the apartment we were living in. I finally have closet space and a bathroom all to myself! And hubby gets to do the basement up with all his Senators gear (meaning it is no longer cluttering up the computer room!)

I love cleaning my bathroom, especially the toilets and the bathtub. There's just something really rewarding about removing all the grime soap scum from the tiles, and the dust from the back and feet of the toilet...my husband just laughs and shakes his head at me. I also love cleaning my kitchen counters...maybe love is the wrong word. I just can't stand having crumbs or sticky stuff sitting on them, so I'm always going with my Lysol spray and my cleaning cloth...

I definitely think he's crush-worthy...something about those eyes, they are just amazing to look at! And what guy has eyelashes like that I don't even know many girls with eyelashes like that (unless they glue them on)

Don't let the name turn you off, but the Bean Town Ranch ( Bean Town Ranch ) is absolutely beautiful. Very intimate.
