No, I don't think it's in poor taste at all. I'm sure they'll be happy with a nice thank you card. What we did was have a nice 8x10 picture frame personalized with our names, date, etc. & put a picture of us from the wedding. We gave them these after we came back from our trip. There's an option that's reasonably priced & sentimental.

I had a beach ceremony (jamaica though) and it was fine. It was windy & not a problem at all. Also, having it that late in the day, I wouldn't worry at all. We had a few people watching, but from a distance. Don't stress, it's going to be beautiful!!

We had our rehearsal the night before the wedding, with the music too. Then all of my 51 guests went to St. Anne's for dinner & I had the travel mugs & hats set up for everyone at their seats! Chandlyn reserved these tables ahead of time. It was great!!

FI had a mic, I didn't. You could hear everything and it was windy!

Bridal Party - "somewhere over the rainbow" tropical version Israele .... Me & Dad - "Answer" Sara McLaughlin Walk out - "This is us" (I forgot who sings it) It's cute & upbeat I also had a CD of songs that played for seating & after the ceremony for pictures & rum punch. It was great!!

We had our dinner/dancing at the plantation & used the DJ at the resort. They were great - you can give requests to Chandlyn at your meeting. They played great songs!!! 150/hr.

Here are a few of my pro pics from Michael. I'll have the other 750+ pics up in a week or so. It took Michael time to edit them all & I just received the CD in the mail. My pictures turned out beautifully and I loved Michael. He was great!! I hope there are no problems for you future Riu brides that choose not to use him.
