We're not completely finished yet so I'll let you know when it's done and post it.

If it rains we will move the ceremony indoors to one of our restaurants. I also heard a few people mention that they'll try to wait it out for a little while too.

I know we'll still be dancing the night away even if I don't right down every song I want him to play.

Were you upstairs or downstairs and was there enough room for you? 2. I just went with the standard menu which is a chicken dish, beef dish, & 2 seafood dishes. I am changing the soup though. Is this what you did? 3. Did you say it's better if you do or don't pay for the private reception? I didn't understand what you meant? 4. Also, did you have rent the Dj? If so, was there a lot of room to dance, etc... Sorry so many questions.... it's so close though!
  8. I'm just gonna hope he takes requests at the disco... We are having a DJ for our private reception and are filling out a sheet that he gave us of must play music and special dances, etc... I'm not going to worry about it too much.

  11. We are going to give out our mugs at the welcome dinner the night before our wedding. I figure I can just set one on every plate... I'm mailing out a timeline a couple weeks before everyone leaves so they'll be aware of the welcome dinner & wedding day festivities!

  13. I just got an e-mail from Chandlyn regarding payment. The DJ only accepts CASH - FYI. The photographer accepts credit card with a 5% service charge. Chandlyn accepts credit card. Also, Chandlyn said they have table numbers if anyone was curious.
  14. I asked Chandlyn if they have any large candle holders or centerpieces I could use and this is her response... We do not have candle holders available. You may however contact our florist at [email protected] to make arrangements. I think I'll just wait till I get there and see what they can offer. I'll use all the flowers from the ceremony too. I also bought turquoise tea light holders that I'll put on the tables and shells to scatter...

  18. Thanks ladies...I sent them via e-mail and certified mail just to make sure.

  21. I asked Chandlyn if we should meet with the DJ before the wedding to go over music and she gave me a sheet to fill out that lists what songs you want for mother/son, father/daughter, etc... It also says to list your top songs and all the names of the wedding party. Chandlyn said she'll give the DJ this before your wedding so he can prepare. I think it'll work out good!
  22. Well of course I didn't get a straight answer from Chandlyn... Her response is below... Hi Therese Thanks for the documents. You can mail them to us at : Clubhotel Riu Ocho Rios Mammee Bay St. Ann's Bay St. Ann, Jamaica Attention: Chandlyn Edwards I look forward to hearing from you. Regards Chandlyn So I guess I will mail them too?
  23. Ooh, too bad they don't have the Riu OR...that would be awesome! Definitely cool for the girls getting married at those resorts though
