  3. Sorry Cherie - One more question - What kind of soup did you have? On the included menu it says pepper pot & Chandlyn said I could change this at no charge to chicken, vegetable, or asparagus...

We are having a private bus pick us and our family/friends at the airport so we can hand out gift bags on it and get a direct ride to the hotel. We're doing this through Lees tours. We're also doing a day trip with everyone and they have been so accomodating!! I asked Norma (the super nice woman from Lees tours) about what I could do for flowers and she gave me a ridiculously cheap price for flowers for me, my bridesmaids, the groom, and my flower girls AND they'll deliver it to the hotel first thing in the morning. If you need ANY services I am strongly endorsing these guys - they're fantastic and fast to respond by email. I cant believe I'm a week away! My wedding is on the same day! Mine is at 4 at the beach gazebo - where & what time is yours?
  6. Oh, that would be a lot of fun!! I agree with jmhein on Margaritaville - it looks really fun!! We just had ours last weekend and honestly I'm still not fully recovered so I definitely could not handle another lol!!
  7. I think it's definitely fine if you want to walk down yourself or have your fi meet you. Like a lot of people said its your day!! I'm having my Dad walk me down the aisle. We really didn't even discuss it, its just something that we both knew would happen. I don't necessarily think of it as myself being a posession to be given, as someone had mentioned. I'm also independant but I think it's just something special that we can share together on my wedding day. I guess I'm not thinking that much into it...
  8. Something new - dress, jewelry, shoes... Something blue - garter w/ cute starfish on it Something borrowed - friend's rhinestone flip flop charm attached to my garter. Something old - an antique locket my BM gave me (which is also blue) that has a picture of my mom on one side & me & my mom together on the other side. My mom passed away recently so it means a lot to me. It attaches to my garter too. She also gave me a chain to put in on after the wedding.
  9. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAMMY - HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!!!
  10. Very cool Heidi - it's coming up quickly!!!!
  11. Thanks to everyone for all your suggestion and idea's!! I have to get on it this weekend. Time is running out!! AAAHHHHH!!!
  12. My great aunt told me it's dangerous in Jamaica. Then she preceded to tell me they went to Aruba once and didn't like it. I really couldn't help but laugh. I love her to death so I'm not going to worry about it. I know she has a few health problems too and probably just doesn't want to venture off. No problem, mon...I knew this would happen with a DW but I'm still glad were doing it. Of course, there are a few people that can't make it that we really want, due to job, pregnancy, etc... but we know it'll still be awesome!!!
  13. Does anyone know where I can get a cute flower pin for my hair? I'm leaving in less than 2 weeks and I really don't want to spend a lot? I'd like a small white orchid or lilly. Any suggestions?

  18. I saw these at Kohl's yesterday and I loved them. I may be back to get some of the 2 toned starfish candles - so cute. I'll have to hide it from FH cuz he's not too happy at all the stuff coming in the mail. We literally have no more room in our suitcases!! But maybe i can have someone else bring a few...
  19. I say use the larger ones, if you have enough lids that fit tightly, for your DW! Save the small ones for your AHR.
  20. I think it would look really pretty with all white! Here are the dresses I bought my girls in case you're interested...cheap -only $58 & cute! I bought them in sapphire (like turquoise). Necessary Objects? Short Babydoll Dress - View All - Nordstrom
  21. Wow Cherie - that sounds amazing!! Congratulations!! I'm glad it turned out so wonderful!! We are leaving in less than 2 weeks and I would love to see pics of the plantation & ceremony. We are having 52 guests and also rented it out with the DJ. I'll pm you with my e-mail - thanks for the great review!!
