Well lets just cross our fingers....I mean...we are already over our budget.... I sent Landy 2 emails yesterday..lol...asking about the price thing AND renting the Seaside Grill..then another one asking questions about having a rehearsal and a "rehearsal dinner" I will let you know what she says in her response!

I've heard of that and have always considered doing it..my curly hair is "wierd" as my hairdresser likes to put it. It changes every 5 years and now it's just a mess when it's curly/kinky/ whatever you want to call it. When I was down in Mexico during February..I straightened my hair at night..it got wavy but I didn't mind because it was the beach...during the day I just left it down....The only day I really care about is the wedding day! Besides....I figure if it gets too out of control I'll get dreads like Monica did on Friends!

Booked Photographer Picked out and have my dress Ordered invites (they are being shipped next week) Have fans for ceremony Picked out BM dresses (I think..MOH might not be coming now) Designed Table numbers Designed brochure to send out Picked out votives for reception Registered (williams & sonoma, crate & barrell) Started Personal Trainer Bought OOT bags To Do: EVERYTHING! Print out table numbers Order BM dresses Find makeup/hair Print out and send brochures order all the votives WEDDING RINGS?? (when should we do this?) Dress alterations Reception Decor (those white lantern ball things, vases, pick flowers) Create Menu Ceremony Decor (I have no clue on this one yet) My accessories (earrings? shoes? bag?) BM accessories?? Music Playlist GM attire...he refuses to think of these things Send out invites Find fillers for OOT bags Write personal letter for guests for OOT bags Create Welcome booklet with infor about resort Place setting card things (guests name and table number) Guest book? Book photographers flight... And I'm sure there is much much more.. Today I promise to take care of at least 2 things on my list..hopefully! Where did the time go?

alright..I'm about to lose my f***ing mind! Travis and I discussed the whole renting out the Seaside grill for our reception with Sandra back in February while on our site visit. We followed up with an email to confirm and she said everything was ready for us....I've been planning everything based on this idea, also based on the prices originally given to us. NOW they are telling me we will have to wait until 1 month prior to reserve I haven't asked, but what if there is another wedding on that day that want the same thing? how does that work? I'm really annoyed at the fact that all the details are changing right now. They should keep everything the SAME for those booked, and only start the changes with brides who have yet to book! brooke, as for the seaside grill..it's awesome! I only have like 22 out of the 50 people invited booked so far...and I think it's the ideal location! it's not overwhelmingly big! I promise to call..this summer has honestly gotten away from me so quickly!!

Thank you ladies so much for your advice..as of today this is what I know... 1. Travis DOES NOT want the kids here for the 2 weeks...there is no bed for them to sleep in, and they will be on the floor...the whole time. They will also NOT be in school...but my brother has NO MONEY saved up or anything to put them anywhere, or take them anywhere, or sleep anywhere he will have to pay for. 2. The job he was banking on...found out today he didn't get it. Apparantly has another follow up tomorrow with a different job..keep our fingers crossed! 3. His wife owned the property, and they are getting a divorce now, so that's not an option either. 4. He did NOT inform me of this 2 week vacation prior to me offering my house to him. IF that was the case, i would have told him he had to change the dates with his ex wife..which apparantly is not happening either. 5. He is depressed, and I do feel really bad about it, because I know he doesn't want to be here at all..ya know I'm his younger sister and I'm sure he doesn't want to rely on me. It just sucks, because I'm sally about confronting people...ugh...

I'm also doing OOT bags for my guests, and my guest seating will be attached to maracas for them to take home...I'm not doing an AHR... I think you could something like OOT bags for your guests that come to your wedding, and then something small that symbolized where you got married for your AHR, so if you got married in MX, maybe mini maraca pens from Oriental Trading?

I've kind of tried...but there really isn't anywhere else he could go...it's just him and I out here from my family...and when I first moved out here he let me stay in house for like 8 months..but then again at the time, it was just him living there, in a big house....not anything like this.... I did try to talk about the whole 2 week thing, but he didn't seem too concerned....it's like..I'm the youngest of the family, why do I have to take care of everyone else??

Alright so I'm sure you girls are tired of me being in a constant state of crisis, but seriously, when it rains, it pours! THIS HAS BEEN ONE HELL OF A YEAR! So let me start back in March so you girls truly understand what's going on here.....FI's father came to visit for 5 days and ended up staying 2 weeks which then overlapped my parents 3 week visit..all here in my TINY, NO STORAGE, 3 bedroom house...4 days later, my 38 yr. old brothers wife kicked him out..oh yes and he has 2 kids which he gets every other weekend, and they are 9 and 11, and one of them has ADHD...BAD. okay...so it's 3 weeks into this, oh yeah..and he lost his job......so....here we are.... FI and I are fighting constantly because there is no privacy in this house, and TOO many people...he has had like 2 interviews, and who knows if it's going anywhere.. he doesn't do anything with the kids when they are here...and i feel like its a daycare on the weekends...now here's the kicker...starting next monday the 26th...he has the kids for 2 weeks...I feel like it could cause a HUGE problem with not only FI and i, but my brother and I as well.... But he IS my brother and needs help..he didn't mess up, but just got dealt a shity hand....AHHHH what do I do?

Yeah...when I went yesterday they literally brought out the box that they JUST opened for the 4 that were out in the display $1 area! I have never seen them before, and the cashier was even checking them out saying they were cute and where did I find them..so I'm assuming I got them the 1st day they were out....call around....

I don't know the exact dimensions..but..I rolled up a beach towel and that fit on one side standing up with plenty of room left over...... probably a little over 12 inches high....and around 12 inches wide...if that makes sense... Thanks for posting those pics ladies! wish I had my camera.... I bought 40 of them!! oops! they had to bring out the box from the back when I went!
