Thanks for all the nice comments! I got the dress on clearance for $80 at Dillards department store (by Oleg Cassini) and then I did see the exact same dress (with a different tag) at White House Black Market for about $200. I wore the dress to our AHR too and everyone thought it was the real dress! I will definitely post some wedding pics soon!

Hi girls! I haven't really posted much because I didn't discover this forum until about a month before my wedding!! Chris and I got married in St. Kitts on September 8, 2007. I got a "sneak peek" from my photographer of the engagement session that we did in St. Kitts the day before our wedding. I thought I would share because I enjoy viewing everyone's pictures! I wore a "fake" wedding dress that I bought as a back-up dress before I found the real dress. Our photographer Critsey Rowe (critseyrowe.com and indigocharlotte.com) traveled from Charlotte to photograph our wedding. She did a really great job and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a destination photographer!! Here are some of my favorites so far---

Thanks everyone for the welcome! St. Kitts is in the West Indies in Caribbean--and right beside the island of Nevis. One side of St. Kitts is the Atlantic Ocean and one side is the Caribbean Sea. It is not a very touristy island and the Marriott(where we are staying and getting married) is the only big resort on the island. Although, word is that there are several major luxury hotels coming in the next 5 years--like the Ritz. We picked St. Kitts because we vactioned there last October and that is where we got engaged. I can't wait!! (although, I shouldn't be so anxious given the amount of stuff left to do before we go!!)
