  2. Have a great time!!!! you know eveyone is going to want to hear all about your trip and will want to see lots of pics!
  3. Michelle! I'm not a Riviera Maya bride. I'm sure there are tones who can help with your questions. Happy planning
  4. I think a bridal portraits are the pictures brides take before the wedding, in their gowns.... I think.....well I guess
  5. Oh my goodness girl! That picture is perfect. Very pretty!!! Now I want to do a bridal portrait. Cant wait to see more...
  6. She is too cute!!!! Congrats, I know you are so excited to be a grandmamma (or as my Mom says a G Mom).
  7. Hey girl! I'm a ROR bride too! I havent really decided what I'm taking as decorations yet, but something small and light would work best (since we are limited in how much we can take). I think the additional cost for additional decorations is very high so I am going to doing a lot of DIY projects.... Once I have more info I'll show you. There are alot of good threads about the Riu Ocho Riu decorations and such on here.Lets see.... try: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...apher-riu.html Also Jerzzygirl just had her wedding in Oct. Her review has tons of good info (and I think a link to her pics) http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ck-awsome.html If I come up with anything I'll show you! If you come if anything be sure to show me too
  8. OK still Try emailing Graziella-Vesta Director of Marketing Operations +52.984.877.23.27 [email protected] I had a problem getting the confirmation for the date of my cermony. Now I remember you were having a problem getting the date 8-8-8 and Carolyn told you there was a time open. If Carolyn has not returned your emails yet I would email Grazilla. She responded to me with 1 day and I had my confirmation that same day. Its worth a try.

If so, I had that problem and I have an email address to a lady whose at the Riu head office that was very helpful. (If thats not the issue, sorry for jumping in).
  10. Reggie you've gotton sooo many responses. My vote goes for short to medium BUT, if you really dont care which one then I say go with the one Heidi likes best. B/c its all about the two of you! So if Heidi says no to the shaved I say no to the shaved as well (Heidi I got your back girl)
  11. My vote is "Pay for an excursion in Jamaica". I mean how many times are you in Jamaica!!! With your girls! Maybe all of you can go on the excursion together (girls outing B 4 the wedding??). When ever it was taken I'm sure it would be a blast.

Second, anyone with my fabulous problem of getting married at 1 and having a reception at 7 who's worried about dying of boredom - Lees tours can book you a private little boat cruise. it's pricey but it'll be a great surprise for everyone (and maybe keep the party going a little longer...). Thirdly, i've seen a few people on here getting married same day as me (Feb 15, 200 have any of you booked the disco from 9-11? If you have and are worried about the "empty" feeling we could always pool wedding parties and share the disco, it'd cut down on costs and could be fun!! (well, i'd love to do it at any rate so if you are interested please email me at [email protected], we have about 20 people going and i'm sure we could each do our own first dances and what have you...). Other than that, still waiting to hear back from Chandlyn about my other questions but hey 3 months and 4 days to go! WOOO! Thanks for the info! Can you tell us about how much the private boat cruise is? I was considering doing something like that. And do you have a website for Lees tours? I would love to take a look. Thanks!

I actually liked that better than the disco. I think someone was thinking about doing their reception there and I would say do it. Hey Mo!!! It's so good to hear your day was great and you are having a good time! I cant wait to hear all about it and ofcouse PICS! I was thinking of doing my reception at the bar Seagrape so I would love for you to tell me what you think. Have fun!!
