  1. Yes, I remember seeing that the DJ was MUCH cheaper....that is crazy - that rate should be total for almost 2hrs. How long was your reception? She said included is 3 hrs. Is that enough, sounds good to me because we can continue elsewhere I was thinking the included cake was fine - just slap a cake topper on it and call it a day The only thing about the flowers is that I wouldn't get to keep my bouquet, but I guess if she gives me a credit I will do it, if not just get 2 boquets? I am sure I will have TONS of questions.....this is just the beginning! Quote: Originally Posted by jilly76 I thought I saw somewhere that someone got a DJ for around 220 per hour? I got the flowers included in the package, they were beautiful.
  2. How do you design the sig pictures girls? I feel so dial up! My puppy in the pictures' name is Valentine if that counts

  5. Ok, so I have just confirmed my date and was bored, saw VistaPrint was offering some deals on items, so I ordered a postcard and some magnets to test see how they look. I took an arial view of Dreams Cancun and made a postcard for the OOT bags that I will make one day. and the back Made some STD magnets that I figured I could add to the boarding passes.... I ordered everything on a Saturday night and received the order the following Monday but paid 2 week shipping and 100 of each for about $22.00. Looks great and will be ordering again soon! Also ordered 100 of these for free from Vista Print with our RA so guests can send them to us when they get back home
  6. Good luck Paula! Can't wait to see/hear all when you get back home!
  7. Well I finally heard back from Claudia and she said I would need to pay the deposit for the wedding package (May 8, 2009) by April 15th 2008.....I wasn't expecting that to be so soon!! I asked if I could have an extension! WOW and the cake that is included is NOT the one of the ones in the pictures I have seen. Those all cost extra. Also I asked if we bring our own flowers if we can get a credit say towards the cake or something and she said no credits - but I asked again, so (fingers crosses). So yes, this is separate from the rooming cost, which is not even out yet.....
  8. I could go for a margarita now
  9. 4 days for Paula! Woo hoo!! I am booking my wedding with Claudia and the travel accomodations with a travel agent. You will need to put a deposit down for the wedding - Claudia said 1/2 to hold the date and confirm everything. I asked: How do we pay for the wedding package and optional items? Do we pay before we arrive in Mexico or when we get there? She replied: First we will need 50% deposit from the wedding package you selected and remaining balance you can pay it on arrival or in advance as you prefer. Please find payment options attached. I am waiting to hear back on when she expects the deposit.....
