  1. I don't know if the colors are the same but what about this one. Bridesmaid dress, cheap bridesmaid dress, flower girl dress, junior bridesmaid dress - Flower Girl Dress KD226
  2. How about any of these: Barnes & Noble.com - Books: How to Be Like Women Athletes of Influence, by Pat Williams, Paperback Barnes & Noble.com - Books: Outstanding Women Athletes, by Janet Woolum, Hardcover Barnes & Noble.com - Books: Extraordinary Women Athletes, by Judy L. Hasday, Paperback
  3. I am so happy for them!! Great pics and thanks for sharing!! I can't wait to see some more.
  4. I am trying to find something that would look complimentary but not too matchy-matchy. Are you against a white dress with the eggplant sash or other accent? Maybe it would help others if you posted the BM dress in this thread. Thanks. Off to google.
  5. Congrats to you and your hubby! How exciting! The place is beautiful and the backyard is amazing. Have fun moving in and making it all yours!!
  6. I think the dresses are lovely. Great choice and your BMs will definitely be able to wear them again!!
  7. My husband wore a tux. We had a formal church wedding and then a sand ceremony overlooking the beach at the hotel and the reception was inside. He didn't complain about being hot at all. There was a great breeze outside. He did take the jacket and tie off at the reception but the AC wasn't working properly inside so that sucked!!
  8. I definitely vote for the TTD. We did it and it was a blast. These are some of the best pictures we have and people always comment on how amazing it looks and that they wish they could have done it. Plus, you probably won't want to be sharing the BD pics with anyone but you two! You can always do a joint BD any day or just use the self timer on your camera and frolick away!!
  9. We didn't want a cake and didn't think we were having a cake but our parents surprised us with it. I didn't even see it until we were doing our first dance. It was a nice surprise!! The cake, which was tres leches flavored, was actually from Costco. It tasted fantastic!!

I am not sure if he didn't have them or if he realized it was too late to decorate properly. BUT, I loved all of the flowers that did show up! I believe I have contact info for another vendor. Let me go look and I will let you know.
  13. Here is a picture of my bouquet. It had orchids, roses, and lilies. Do you want just orchids? I will keep looking.
  14. Thanks. It seems like I am in Michael's every other day!

We paid them in travelers checks but I am not sure about the payment policy. It may be different in the stores but we had it delivered to the hotel. We didn't really have a formula. We bought 30 bottles of liquor and had a total of 70 guests. We ended up with I think 8 or 9 bottles leftover. When we went down for a site visit, the WC at The Omni Puerto Aventuras had a formula but I can't remember what it was. We just wanted to make sure we wouldn't run out!
  16. It is so amazing what you and your husband are doing Tammy. I just donated a little bit to help Beate. Please keep us updated on her progress. Thanks.

  18. Beautiful pictures Heidi!! You look amazing and your dress looks like it was made especially for you. All of your details are wonderful. Congrats.
  19. Everything is gorgeous Courtney. Very well done!! You are going to have a wonderful wedding. All the best.

The tall ones were used at the church and then again in the aisles of the sand ceremony. The one in front was used as the centerpiece and the flowers in the ice bucket are my BM bouquet.
  21. I was a go with the flow kind of bride. I didn't even realize that my dress was dirty until I took it off but it was only dirty on the bottom. I think I had some drinks spilled on me (could have been my own) but they were clear in color so it didn't matter. I might not have liked a red wine stain too much but what can you do! Plus the air conditioning wasn't working well in the ballroom so you can imagine what a sweaty mess I was. It was all good though. I didn't care at all. Then when we did our TTD, my dress actually was cleaner afterwards. I will do just about anything for a great candid shot!!
  22. I love cala lilies so I chose B. It is a gorgeous bouquet!
