An "official" priest will only perform a Catholic ceremony in a church. They will not do it on the beach. Have you picked a location yet? If not, you could find a resort that has a church onsite. I believe Dreams Tulum has one.

Your ring is gorgeous. I also had the same problem trying to find a band to match my e-ring (it is a 3-stone princess cut with lots of bling). I am going to wear my e-ring on my right hand and I ended up buying a men's wedding band for myself which ironically is by Scott Kay!

I ordered 50 of the regular canvas totes on Monday and they are already here!! I hope I have enough. Even though the price has increased to $1.29 instead of $.99 they are still a great find. I am really happy with them and can't wait to start doing the iron on transfers. I am keeping the iron ons very simple though so people can reuse the bags without having our names and such all over them.

My AHR is also a little more than 3 months after my Mexico wedding. The holidays are always so busy as it is. I think it would be best to wait until they are over.

When I was in Cancun last month, I ate at a place called Casa de las Margaritas. It was definitely kid friendly and it was in a nice area to walk around in. There was some kind of aquarium right there and also a place to watch dolphins swim. The food was good at the restaurant and there is a nice area upstairs that would give you a bit more privacy and you can overlook the rest of the restaurant. Plus they have mariachis perform in the center of the restaurant. I believe they sent me pricing because I thought about having my rehearsal there. I will check tomorrow but PM me if you are interested and I can email you the pricing and some photos. BTW, the banana strawberry margaritas were AWESOME!

Every time I go to Cancun, I always rent from Cancun Car Rental, Rent a car in Cancun, Playa del Carmen Easy Way Car Rental Their prices seem to be more reasonable than other places. But I must warn you that their location is about 5 minutes from the airport and it seems shady (compared to what you may be used to) but I have never had a problem with them. Have you thought about renting a car for maybe just part of the time that you are there? Otherwise, the bus system is great and cheap.
