It was quite an adventure!
  2. We had so much fun doing our TTD. I would highly recommend it to everyone. And my dress was cleaner after being in the water!
  3. We are back from our Cancun wedding. All I can say is WOW. I am so very happy that we did a destination wedding. It was amazing!! Thank you to everyone for all your input, ideas, suggestions and support. It would have never turned out as great as it did without you all! This forum was truly an inspiration. The bottom line is that we had the most magical and wonderful wedding and the day was completely perfect for us. The rest of the story is that many things went wrong. However, one of the things that went off without a hitch was our photography and videography team headed up by Martha Roque at Cancun Photomemories. For anyone that was debating whether or not to use her or for those that have already booked her but are yet to have your wedding or for those still looking for an amazing photographer, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Martha was completely professional, fun, carefree, easy to work with, a genuine soul (I could go on and on) but the most important (for us anyway) is that she captured our most memorable moments and I couldn’t be happier with our photos. And she delivered our photos to us before we left Cancun (obviously the video will take a little longer but we can wait!) We got married on a Saturday, did our TTD on Monday and had the photos first thing Wednesday morning. Here are a few photos to enjoy! Martha ~ THANK YOU so very much again from the both of us! You were wonderful to us and to all of our family and friends.

  7. You can try Petra Maurus. She might be performing our sand ceremony and I met with her on a site visit. She is fantastic and her English is perfect. She also works with her husband who is a photographer but here is her email address [email protected].

    Hello

Hi Katy. Welcome to the forum.
  18. Hi Jenny. Welcome to the forum.
  19. Hello and welcome. I am getting married in a Catholic church in Cancun. I looked at several churches though in the Riviera Maya. Let me know if you have any questions.
  20. The biggest things I have left to do are the ceremony programs, finalizing the musicians for the church and finalizing transportation from hotel to church and back. There are many little things but I figure if I don't get them done then oh well! Congrats to all the May brides. We have about a month to go!
  21. Someone else had posted the link for that and I was super excited. But I couldn't get it to plot my hotel and reception places in Cancun. Did you have any problems with it? Can you please post a pic. I am sure they look great finished. Has anyone had success with a Cancun map? Thanks for posting the link again. It reminded me to ask the question.
  22. I am finalizing my seating chart too and was having some similar issues but I put all the family closer to us. I figure that after dinner we will all be mingling and it won't really matter. I don't have a sweetheart table though. We opted to have our parents and his grandmother (the only grandparent left) sit with us.
