It took awhile to do since I made about 50 but it was worth it because they looked great on the tables. If you need more detailed help, just let me know.

  5. I think that dress is beautiful and your BMs could definitely wear it again. I love the color too and the price is great!! I say go for it.
  6. WOW!! The color and both dresses are gorgeous. Great choices and I love that the dresses might be different. It is not too matchy matchy that way but will definitely flow and look fabulous in pictures.
  7. I did mine without any makeup at all. I like the natural look of it plus I had less than 5 minutes to get ready and I just hopped out of the shower and went. You will look great no matter what!!
  8. Holy cow Becks. That is a lot and I am so jealous. Was it for business or pleasure? Here are mine and I have been to many of them more than once. 1. The person that we arranged the church ceremony with was Guadalupe Nava (Lupita) and her email address is [email protected]. She was fantastic and usually responds right away. If you go down for a site visit, her office is located downtown and I believe she will arrange/coordinate at other locations as well. As for the veil, I am not sure. I would maybe keep it in like a dress bag hanging up to keep the dust from getting to it. I am not sure about the prices at the market as I didn't go there myself but you can always negotiate prices. They like to bargain!
  10. What a gorgeous dress. You look fabulous and so happy! Congrats.

We were married in San Juan Bautista Chapel which is located at La Salle (the univeristy). It was a beautiful church and I liked that it was not located on a busy road or in a high travel/tourist area. It was about 10-15 minutes away from the hotel. We rented a huge bus and some smaller vans to transport the guests and it worked perfectly. The parents bought the tiers at Mercado 28 (the huge flea market in town). Perhaps you could bring your own tiers though? The Costco was in downtown Cancun. Please let me know if you have any other questions or want pictures.
  12. I wore a veil for the church ceremony and then I was going to take it off and wear flowers for the sand ceremony. However, my florist showed up late and didn't bring half the flowers that he was supposed to including my hair flower (which were going to be orchids). But I really loved how my veil fluttered through the wind. I still would have loved to wear flowers for the reception though. I will be sure to do that for my AHR.

    Hello!

Hi Jenn. Welcome to the forum. Your big day is just around the corner. Best of luck!
  14. Hi Manda. Welcome to the forum. Hawaii is a lovely choice and there are alot of brides on here to help with your planning. Take a look around.
  15. Hello and welcome to the forum. I have been to Isla Mujeres several times and it is lovely. Best of luck!
  16. La Romana was one of my first choices when we started planning a DW. I fell in love with the church that is at Casa de Campo. I received a lot of information from Casa de Campo as well as Sunscape. If you are interested, let me know your email and I will forward it to you. Although I have been to Punta Cana (loved it) I have never been to La Romana so I can't give you my opinions on the differences. The closest I got was to Isla Saona which was amazing!
  17. I also am planning on wearing my dress to my AHR (I wore it for the TTD too). However, I plan on changing at the AHR after I make my entrance since it will be a very casual affair.
  18. They look great. I would be excited to receive one of those. Very nice job!
  19. The helicopter ride is a very cool idea. I bought my bridesmaid a digital waterproof camera. Although it is not very sentimental it could capture some great underwater shots that you might not have been able to take! I gave my husband a locket with his initials engraved that had a picture inside of his grandfather who recently passed away who he was extremely close to. That way he was able to have him with him on our special day. It made him cry.
  20. You definitely can't go wrong with Sarah!! They look amazing and I love the colors! Great job.
  21. Hi Sara. Welcome to the forum. I was just recently married in Cancun and the weather in May was gorgeous. Best of luck with your planning!
  22. That looks like a great list of places to visit. You will know "your place" when you see it. Have fun!!
  23. That is so sweet. Have a great time. I went whitewater rafting once and it was a blast. Enjoy!
  24. Hi Jesjess. You are definitely in the right place to help plan your dream wedding. Welcome aboard!
