  1. I just looked for a recipe for beef stew this morning! This sounds much better though....
  2. Happy Birthday Edna!! --sending good vibes your way---
  3. Welcome to the forum! I'm sure you will find it is quite addicting!
  4. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am about it. We got a Premiere Suite at the Hilton for the full 16 days, plus we upgraded our flight to First Class on the way down (it's not available on the way home.) But get this, we're in row 1 on the way down - I've never been in row 1 on a plane in my life. Is it ridiculous that I'm this excited about it? I would totally be excited! I haven't sat in Row 1, but First Class in general is so comfy! And the free drinks are always a plus! Mike says that he will fly First Class for our honeymoon/wedding, too.

  6. I LOVE LOVE this idea but my only concern is that if the reception is outside or open-air, the candy will get really sticky and stick together...
  7. Welcome and good luck- I've loved helping my sister plan her wedding!

The bride still looked like herself, but with a cool up-do.

  12. Quote: I'm heading to the mall this weekend, so i'll just drop it off some place. I think just about any store will do it for free to get you in the door. I just wanted to know what to do on my own. I don't go to the mall that often. I'd be a little weary about just dropping your ring off... It doesn't take long and they usually do it in front of you if you want. I'd wait and watch them do it. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I'd be afraid that they'd replace my diamond with a cubic....
  13. I always thought that even if a ring is made of gold, the prongs are platinum. If that's not the case with yours, maybe they can just change the prongs and not the entire ring. It won't hurt to ask.
  14. Great song- Delilah (I think she's syndicated?) used to play it all the time. One of my favorites!

Welcome to the forum! I'm in the same boat- waiting for the bling! You will waste so much time on this forum that you will forget you're still waiting.
  16. Nordstrom actually has a great dress selection and the prices are better than you'd think. Also, my sister is getting married next month and my other sister and I are bridesmaids along with my 11 year old cousin and 2 of the bride-sister's friends. Our sizes range from 2-28 and we all are wearing the same dress. It is a Bill Levkoff and I think we paid $170.... www.billlevkoff.com
  17. Congratulations and welcome- I LOVE Vegas!!
