Below is the part email I sent out to all my friends and family the day after we got engaged: Family & Friends, We did it! We’re in love, the ring is beautiful, and we are thrilled to announce our engagement! The Proposal: Joseph Barthelemy popped the question on Saturday, June 30 at Maria Pia's, an italian restaurant in Midtown New York. After dinner, the waiter handed us the dessert menu and as I was looking it over, at the bottom of the menu (simulating as a dessert option), it said, "Latoya Evette Harris, Will You Marry Me?" not noticing it at first and after a delayed reaction, I dramatically and loudly said "YES'! Seconds after saying yes, a couple at another table, who I thought were just restaurant guests, all of a sudden pulled out cameras and began to snap away. Come to find out, Joe hired photographers to snap the moment. (those pics I will not show because I looked like a mess with makeup running and snot coming all out of my nose! Hello ladies! FIrst off, I love this site and you all have given great advice!!!! My name is Latoya (got engaged June 30, 2007 in NYC) and I am a newbie! I have been racking my brain as to where I want to get married. Since my fiance and I visited Cabo this past March (we stayed at Pueblo Bonito Sunset --- the best resort I have ever been to but the resort is a little pricey for a wedding) we were thinking of having it somewhere in Cabo. I was thinking about Dreams Los Cabos after reading everyone's review. I do have a few questions: 1. Is the wedding ceremony & reception area at Dreams Los Cabos private enough? (don't like the thought of half naked onlookers at my wedding) 2. What about Dreams having two weddings at the same time? As a bride would I be affected (location, attention from WC)? 3. If not Dreams, what other resorts would you recommend that has a private location for a ceremony & reception (budget friendly)! Thank you so much in advance for your help! Latoya
