I agree with Lizz. Wherever or whenever you decide to have the wedding, it will be as it was meant to be--and it will be beautiful. I know this was a difficult decision and not easy emotionally, but I want to encourage you that you will still have the wedding of your dreams. I actually think it's very brave of both of you to make this decision and follow your hearts, and not feel pressured to follow through with pre-established plans. We're here to support you!

Ooohh Tami! Those are too cute! I've been trying to decide what type of mug, cup, etc I want to get with no success so far, but I really like those. I was originally leaning toward a stadium cup, but I like the idea of having a lid.

I chose Sandals Grande Ocho Rios because we were offered a great deal on the rooms and it turned out much less expensive than I originally thought. Since I'm expecting 50+ guests, I wanted a larger resort that offered a myriad of activities and restaurants to keep them entertained. I also loved the AI aspect of it and the fact that at Sandals, with the size of my wedding, I get a free welcome cocktail reception and rehearsal dinner as part of my wedding package. I felt there were cons also, (very small beach, older resort, etc.) but when I compared with other resorts, the pros helped me make the decision to stay at SGOR. My wedding budget also seems to be smaller than most of the other girls on this board, so this resort is giving me the opportunity to have a "more expensive" wedding on a smaller budget and that's been the biggest plus of all.
