Totally worth it, now I love being home! And she cleans like no one I've ever known. She has this way of doing the pillows on the bed that just look great, and I can never recreate it...I hate taking them off that night because it won't look that good for another week! How did you ladies find the cleaning ladies? Through the cleaning companies or referrals? One of the reason holding me back so far is finding someone that I can trust.

And every time I come home from work on those Wednesdays, it makes me smile and we have a clean, fabulous house. Of course, until we cook dinner and it's dirty again. But it's soo worth it! I swear, that is what I am going to do as well when we get a new house together!!! I hate cleaning other than kitchen and bathroom, I agree this will be so worth it.
  3. You are glowing in that dress! Agree with everyone, with veil don't do flower. You can take off the veil and add the flower back on for reception.
  4. Why are most men like that?! Paul will only do something after I ask him to, and then will make it sound like he's doing me a favor! And if I make a comment that he forgot to turn the light off or close the door behind him or put the tools back after he finishes something (he does that even when he's not doing house chores, drives me crazy), he says I am not being appreciative.
  5. A frog now, a prince charming in the future... Just entering for fun

  9. Wow, that's a gorgerous dress! You look very beautiful in it, love the top, love the detail (agree on removing the bows), love the bottom, love it all! And yeah, I hate those stores that won't let you take pics...
  10. This is YOUR day so you should put your foot down. You have been too nice to them and given them too many choices. I would suggest to give a few guidelines for them to adhere to: color, style, length, material, etc. or pick out just a few styles like others suggested and have every BM decide in two weeks.
  11. Congratulations on your engagement! March will be spring break timeframe, so traveling will be busy to these popular places. I've heard mixed reviews about destinationweddings.com, in addition they charge $50 fee while other TAs don't. That is just my two cents. lol to the forum and happy planning!

I am thinking about printing out ~50 pages of this on heavier cardstocks, put a page in each OOT bag and ask the guests to fill them out/decorate them beforehand then bring to the reception to bind them together. On the back of each page, I will add the wedding photos later.

  19. Can't believe families are the ones typically giving grief to DWs. This is your time and it is all about you. I completely agree with everyone else said, don't worry about whether they will come or not, just do what you love and make yourselves happy.
