I bought my TTD at the Black House White Market or whatever it's called. It's more of a slipdress and flowy. Kind of looks like a nightie actually. I'm taking it to my seamstress so she can sew another layer in. Don't want a see through dress in the water!! It was like 50% so it ended up being around $90!! I'll post pics of it after I get it hemmed

I actually am going the cheaper route and doing white paper bags with handles and filling it with waters, candy, snacks, advil, pepto etc. and a note of thanks. I'm hoping to not spend more than $10-$15 each bag. Couples are sharing one and singles get their own. I figure most people don't want to lug stuff home with them and I know I probably wouldn't use a bag with someone's wedding date or names on it ever again. I wanted mine completely throw-a-wayable. Does that make sense? Just me thought Where do you get packets of Advil, pepto etc? Does Costco have it? Are you buying it down there or bringing it?

Great thanks! I want to do something like Shelly's So cute. I bought a fake conch shell from Kohl's for the ring bearer to carry. I am going to hot glue gun a starfish in it so two of the points stick out and fill it with sand. That way our rings will be on the tips of the starfish. I'll post ictures of everything once I've done it.

I cannot seem to find a nice beach pail for my niece to carry down the aisle. I am looking for a nice white or aluminum one so I can decorate it with ribbon. Does anyone know where to find these?

I started Jenny Craig around Halloween and have lost about eight pounds. In the past week or so, I have gained back a few and it sucks! I am going to stop Jenny Craig until the new year and then go back on it STRICT until the wedding! I feel like I can lose the last ten pounds in Jan., Feb. and March. Uggh, it's so hard especially when you're anticipating the arrival of your dress right at the beginning of January!

I am actually really excited to be able to "re-live" our wedding again in the church after our Cabo wedding. It will just be our parents and a few close friends and then we'll go out to brunch after. I get to wear my dress again, walk down the aisle, have the whole church experience. So they way I look at it, I get to have two weddings!! Isn't that every brides dream?

We are doing the same thing and getting married three weeks after our Cabo wedding in the Catholic church at home. I wanted to get married in the church but when we thought about it, we didn't want a priest in Mexico marrying us but we really wanted a destination wedding. We want our own priest at home. So, my FI's dad is "marrying" us in Mexico and then we are telling people we're getting it blessed in the catholic church when we come home. Really, we won't be legally married until we do the church thing. I'm wondering Bridget, did your wedding day in Cabo feel any less "real" to you. PArt of me thinks since it won't be legal there, we are just putting on a show. In my heart, I hope it feels like the real deal and that will be our actual wedding. Hard to tell because I always pictured myself getting married in the church since I was a kid so I'm not sure how I will feel

My dream dress is a Monique Lhullier and I would never have asked my parents to buy it nor could justify buying it myself. So after I came to this realization, I bought a dress which was pretty but way too formal for a beach wedding. I acted waaay too hasty. Luckily the bridal shop let me exchange it (since I bought the sample off the rack) and I went with a more "beachy" dress. It's still not my dream dress but I'm praying once it's altered and I'm all done up, I will love it too. DOn't get me wrong, it's a gorgeous Pronovias dress and pretty unique but that damn Monique dress keeps haunting me!! P.S. I did not like me dress at all on the rack but it looks MUCH different on, so try on a bunch even if you don't think it will look good on you!

Hi everyone! I originally thought of having Suzanne Morel come to Cabo Surf for a Spa Party the day before the wedding for me and my bridesmaids (7 total.) Maye told me I better check with Armando before doing that out of courtesy to them because they have their own spa and salon. I decided to check out Cabo Surf's prices as well and Cyntia there told me they could do it for $100 pp. This includes a spa manicure OR pedicure, a thirty minute head and neck massage and a margarita, martini, pina coloda etc. Does this sound like a pretty good deal to you? Suzanne Morel was more expensive. I'm thinking I will have the spa party at Cabo Surf and then have SUzanne come in to do hair and makeup on the day of the wedding. OR should I just stick with the salon at Cabo SUrf for everything?! Aaahh, it sucks that the salon has only been open for a little bit because I don't have many reviews to go off!

If any of you have done a group event at Baja Cantina, can you recommend the food you had? I was looking at doing the taco bar or the BBQ buffet. One is 20pp and one is 25pp. Then to add on open bar for two hours is another 20pp. That's almost 50pp!! Is this normal and worth it? We obviously want to have good food for the RD but we want something fun and reasonable too. Any suggestions! What did you guys pay pp for the RD?

Very nice! What do you tell them at Kinkos? I am thinking about having our invites printed and I will assemble them. Can you bring all the paper to them or do they have lots of paper to choose from?

I am trying desperately to re-create these beautiful boxed invitations from HanaHou. I can do all the DIY stuff but the part I am most worried about is the printing of everything. Is there a place or company that you girls used which is reasonable for printing services? Like would Kinkos do them if I brought them the paper or Costco? I know Mountaincow has software you can buy but it's like $100. Any help please!! I will post pics of the ispiration invite tomorrow at work
