  1. I'm going to sorta highjack the thread and ask... What do you wear to your shower when it's supposed to be a surprise? Mine is tomorrow and my friends/family know that I live in sweats on the weekend. So if I show up in a cute outfit, they will know that I know and I really don't want to ruin it for them. What should I wear?!?!
  2. Oh no, I'm so sorry. Let us know how we can be of help!

I've decided to go on a joint appointment with my mom for our genetic counselling, it'll be a family affair! That sounds really good. I'm glad she found a doctor that she likes, that's really important. Keep us updated!

  12. That's funny that you posted this because I have the same problem. My shower is on Saturday. My BMs worked really hard at keeping it a surprise and they don't know that I know, so even though I would like to get them something, I would ruin the surprise if I did. I am planning on getting them a small gift to thank them next week. I'm thinking maybe a Vera Bradley make-up bag or something from Bath & Body Works.

  14. I rarely cook, but I borrowed a slow cooker from my SIL and made this recipe and now Mike wants us to buy our own...lol! It is shredded bbq pork. All you do is put a pork loin in the cooker with a can of beer and enough water to cover the pork and whatever spices you like. Leave it on overnight. In the morning, it literally falls apart when you start shredding it. Mix it with a bottle or 2 of good bbq sauce (Mike likes the Jack Daniels sauce) and you're all set. To be honest, I have never tried it b/c I'm a vegetarian, but I've heard from all of the guys who watch football at my house that it's awesome.
  15. Dr. Hubby, Welcome back and Congrats!!! Thank you for your review, it sounds like it was a fabulous time!

It's funny, I was doing our programs and my sister has been married for 10+ years, but I wrote Moran as her last name even though it hasn't really been hers in forever (my other sister pointed it out and I changed it). I'm excited to be a MRS and am proud to take his last name, but I'm really going to miss mine after 28 years.
