I actually picked the names based on family things - Ella is short for my grandmom Marcella and Rose is Mike's granny - but also because I love the name Ella and how it sounds with our last name. I didn't realize it was such a popular name til this list. That would be crazy if our Ella Roses meet someday:)

That is weird your name isn't on there b/c I know a lot of Jacquelines. Who's naming their baby Ella Rose?!? That's crazy...same name as me! And I didn't think that Ella was all that common.

We used Michael and I was not thrilled with his work. I probably spent a little over $1000 for 100 pictures and to have him for extra time (3:30-7:30). He shipped me the "edited" CD of pics after I returned home and I wasn't very happy with the quality (didn't seem like he edited them at all). I had my cousin who is a graphic design artist re-touch most of them. To me, pictures weren't very important so that's why I didn't hire an outside photographer, but to pay over $1000 for mediocre work was aggravating. If you have the option of bringing someone else in, I think you should consider it. But then again, there are many brides here who are very happy with Michael's pictures, so I could have just had him on an off day or something.

I hope that I don't have any problems loosing it! How much did you ladies gain with your pregnancies? How long did it take to lose it, and did you lose all, some or none of it? Good to see you around, Shea! I can't believe how close you are. I've put on about 20 lbs. so far. I'm lucky b/c I've felt great this entire pregnancy and have been able to keep up my regular workout schedule. With about 8 weeks to go, my goal is stay under a total of 30 lbs. gained. I'm really hoping it comes off quick b/c I'm a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding 5 weeks after my due date...ahhh! Quote: Originally Posted by BarefootBride Hi ladies! We're moving the furniture into the nursery this weekend (at long last!) and I think we're almost ready. Not a moment too soon! I have another appt tomorrow, but 2 weeks ago I was dilated to 1 and thinning out. I have contractions constantly which vary from 5-15 minutes apart most of the time, but occasionally go 2-3 minutes apart for an hour or so. My body is getting ready. Holy cow this is coming up fast! I can't believe how close you are. It seems like just yesterday you announced you were pregnant. It sounds like it's going to be any day now...keep us posted! I'm still not cinvinced so we'll see what happens in another 6 weeks. Maybe because I wanted a boy. But as long as he/she is healthy. That does seem early to be able to tell, but your doctor would know better than I...lol! Congrats on your little girl! I would love to see the baby again, but no such luck.

The only thing I did was have the Irish Marriage Blessing read during the ceremony. Let us know what you come up with. I love Irish traditions!

Welcome Danielle...congrats! Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Nothing too exciting with me. I'm 32 weeks today and still feeling pretty good for the most part. I can't believe how soon the baby will be here, but at the same time it seems like this pregnancy has taken forever!!!

We had a video camera with us and it fit in the safe, along with all of our travel documents, my camera, jewelry, money, etc.
-
It will definitely fit in the safe. I don't know the exact dimensions, but ours (in both of our rooms) was pretty big.

I made an appointment with Chandlyn about 1 month before I left, but when I tried to find her that day, she wasn't there. I had to go back to her office a few times that day before she was showed up. She's a VERY busy woman, so if I were you I'd try to stop at her office after you check-in and then keep going back every time you pass through the lobby til you get a hold of her. But (like others have said) she is on top of everything and will take care of everything.

I dont know how they do it? LOL I'm usually so on top of things and want everything done now, but my husband forced me to wait on doing the nursery because I was dependent on him to paint, pull up the rugs, etc. etc. It drove me crazy not having it done months ago, and now that it's finally getting finished I'm so happy. But really it doesn't even need to be done til the baby is here, so I should have just calmed down...lol! Quote: Originally Posted by Kelly C Ok, is anyone else a hormonal mess? This is not cool. All of a sudden this week I have blown up. I can really see it in my face. Sorry girls needed to vent to others that are in my situation. I was an emotional disaster for a good 4 or 5 months. Seriously, I thought that my husband was going to divorce me and I was going to end up committed. It calmed down for me in the middle of the second trimester and I've been pretty good since then. I talked to my doctor and she said there are safe medications I could be put on, but I chose not to. If it gets really bad though, definitely talk to your doctor about either meds and/or counseling. I feel for you because I remember how miserable I was. Big hugs! I tried on my wedding dress this morning and surprisingly it still fit but I know I won't be able to in a couple months. So I'm thinking of taking it in and have her make it a corset back. Other than that everything is good. Glad to hear everything is going well. That sounds like the perfect plan for your dress!

It's nothing too creative - just new paint, rugs & furniture - but I'm still excited. I was "all belly" up until a few days ago, but now I'm starting to feel like it's "all over" Lisa, I really hope I look similar to how you did at the end. You were so cute!

Karma, we miss you around here but obviously understand:) It's good to hear you like the diaper bag. I can't wait to use mine! We are getting new rugs put into the nursery tomorrow and then can hopefully put together the crib on Sunday. I can't wait til I can get in there and start decorating. I feel like I've really blown up this week. My bump is huge and I can't believe it still has 10 (give or take a few) more weeks to grow! My maternity shirts are starting to ride up b/c my belly is too big...lol! I have another routine appt. on Monday morning, but that's about it. Hope you're all doing well!

Jenn, I'm sorry it's been so frustrating. I hope it comes back positive this month! That's cute (probably annoying to you though) that Sam is being so concerned and making you drink milk and whatnot. Keep us updated on what's going on! I've missed you around here too!!!!!!

I went off the pill May 10 when we left for our wedding in Jamaica and was pregnant by the end of May/beginning of June. I thought it would take a few months, but surprisingly it didn't! Good luck!!!

Glad to hear that everyone is doing well! I am 30 weeks today and have no idea where the time has gone. This pregnancy feels like it's taking forever, but at the same time now it's starting to fly by. All is good with both the baby and I. I have no major complaints, except I wish the weight gain would slow down...lol!

We used ours on the beach. It wasn't very windy, but I think they would have held up even if it was, they were pretty sturdy. I bought a few extras just in case they got damaged, but didn't have to use them. They looked great in my pics (and saved a ton of money)!
