  1. Let me preface this by saying that I'm an idiot. I was looking everywhere for Caparros Lorna shoe in ivory. I fell in love with them on Caparros - Lorna (Ivory Silk) - 6PM.com, but they didn't carry my size. I checked on ebay, zappos, etc. everyday for weeks to no avail. Well, I saw them on ebay one day and got so excited that I bid on them. 2 seconds later I realized they are a size 6.5 Ummm, I wear 7.5 or 8...lol! And of course I won the bid. So, I have a pair of shoes that I will never wear. The ebay seller said her daughter wore them once to the prom. They are in good condition. I am selling them for $20 including shipping. Here are some pics:
  2. Ok, here are some pics for those that asked. They're not the best and they don't include everything, but I was trying to be quick b/c FI was making fun of me..lol. Oh, don't mind the background...that's my guest room comforter (a little bright!).
  3. I have finally finished putting together my BM's gifts. I've had it all for awhile, just never had time to sit down and put it together and write them their thank you notes. - personalized beach tote - Bought from ebay seller "Linen Classics", the seller's name is Suzanne and she was so great to work with. I told her I needed 8 bags and she gave me a discount and combined shipping.: - cosmetic bag - Bought from ebay seller "eseventplanningandsupplies": - jewelry pouch- Bought from http://www.hansonellis.com/: - starfish necklace - Bought at Kohl's: - gift certificate to the spa at the resort: - Vera Bradley luggage tag - Bought at a Hallmark store: - flip flops to wear at the wedding - Bought at Target: - picture frame - Bought at Kohl's: Here's a pic of them all in the "wedding room". I can't wait til I can give the girls their presents!
  4. My 2 ring bearers are my 3 year old nephew Nate and my 8 year old nephew Josh. I bought them their luggage and their clothes for the wedding (Hawaiian shirts, white linen pants, and Reef flip flops). Here is the rest of their stuff (I tried to resize the pics in photobucket...are they huge?): toiletry bags from Lillan Vernon: luggage tags from Lillian Vernon: shirts from Customized Girl: (my brother calls us Auglizzy - a combination of FI's last name and my first name)
  5. Usually when I am a bridesmaid, we all put in about $200 which includes food, alcohol and gift. $250 for just paper products and a gift sounds like a lot to me. And the fact that you have to still buy alcohol is going to definitely add to the cost. Are you close enough to the MOH that you can say something to her?

I'm a little nervous, so I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed working with her.
  7. We gave the same gift to my girlfriend who got married last October and she loved the idea so much she turned around and did it for me. It really is so nice for a bride to have in the last month or so before the wedding. I was trying to take pics of the stuff I bought and my FI was totally making fun of me for posting my new clothes online...lol! I'll post the pics later when I'm on my desktop.

to the forum! Congrats on your wedding!
  9. Tami, that is so great! I know how much you wanted this job, it's perfect for you. And obviously you are wonderful at it!
  10. HAPPY WEDDING DAY, Jen & Brendan I am so happy for you, I can't wait to hear all about it!
  11. Welcome back and congrats Rachel!!!! Sorry to hear you were sick, but I'm glad you had such a great time. I can't wait to hear all about it and (obviously) see pics!
  12. They look great! Your guests are going to love them, Stephanie!
  13. I'm sorry your sister may not be able to make it. But I agree with what was said above that she should be able to change the court date. As for the uneven # of attendants, I've been to a number of weddings where there were a different # of bridesmaids and groomsmen. I wouldn't ask anyone else, especially because you said you aren't really close enough with anyone else coming to want to ask them.
