My brother, sisters and I are getting my mom a dog! We always had one growing up and our last dog Maggie got put to sleep about 4 years ago. She's been talking about getting one (especially since my little sister moved out and she's living by herself for the first time EVER), so we're going to make a day of it and go to a shelter with her to pick out a new pups!

Happy Birthday My family has always made a big deal out of our birthdays, but FI's never did. He doesn't get why I get so excited every year and seriously start counting down the days starting about a month before. There's no way he could ever forget my b-day b/c I'm so obnoxious about it...lol! Seriously, you need to milk this one. He's going to feel bad when he realizes he forgot.
