If I were you, I would invite them all. I'm having 85 people come to the wedding and about 40 are coming to the rehearsal dinner. I would love to invite all of the guests b/c it's true that they are all "out of town", but it's just too many. If I had a smaller group, I would definitely try to do it.

My whole weekend is wedding stuff: Friday night - pick up my dress!!! and start to pack Saturday - my bridesmaid lunch (so I can give them their gifts) and my bachelorette party Sunday - my BD pics (which I'll look like crap for b/c of how hung over I'll be...lol)

I'm so happy that the day was so wonderful for your mom. And I am so excited that your SIL showed up, that must have meant so much to your mom. Can't wait to see pics!!!

Congrats on making an offer I love the house, it looks so nice! Last winter I bought a house and started a new job while planning the wedding, so I know how you feel, it's like everything is happening at once. But it's so exciting!

You definitely don't need to do them. The majority of my guests have never been to a DW, so I don't think they would even realize that a lot of people do OOT bags. I have to admit that for me it did really increase my budget and it's the majority of my luggage (I have 85 guests for a total of 53 OOT bags). But I love doing stuff like this (even though right now it's giving me a headache figuring out how to lug it all down there). Like Morgan, before I bought things I thought about the usefulness of it - i.e. candles b/c the rooms are "musty" according to past travelers - and how easy it would be to pack - i.e. stackable cups instead of travel mugs.

I voted for 4th of July, but that's just b/c I won't be around before Memorial Day to do it.

I got a really really cute one that I love, but I don't know if I will even remember to use it...lol. I just wanted it b/c I LOVE purses, so thought the wedding was a great excuse to buy another one. I definitely don't think you need one, just give your essentials to a BM or your mom to hold.
