Also, I really did have to keep checking it because I found that stuff at BB&B goes out of stock and I had no idea unless I noticed it was unavailable online. I had to get a whole new set of pots/pans, wine glasses and a ton of other stuff b/c they all got discontinued.

Jenn, Sam is so sweet!!!! I can't wait to hear where it is. My first thought was Key West b/c when I went there I had to take a small plane, but usually it's only 1 plane to Miami, so that's probably not it.

I am soooo guilty of doing it. The week before my shower I was checking them all the time.

We bought our ring bearers (ages 3 and : - luggage - personalized toiletry bags and luggage tags - both from www.lillianvernon.com which has really cute stuff (the bags and tags had basketballs and footballs and stuff like that on them) - "King of the Ring" customized shirts.

The things that I splurged on the most were gifts for my guests...(1)our moms trips (2)my bridesmaids gifts (3)OOT bags. I love giving gifts and wanted my girls and my guests to know how thankful we were for their presence. Both of our moms would have had to struggle to pay for the trip, so we paid for both of them in full. I didn't want our wedding to be a financial hardship on either of them. I'm so grateful that we were able to afford to do that and to buy the little extras for our guests.

We had 83 (I think, it may have been 1 or 2 more). It was about half family and half friends...perfect!

Welcome back and congrats!!! You look beautiful! I was there May 19-22 for my honeymoon, I wish I would have run into you.

Great review! I'm so sad I checked out before your wedding, I really wanted to see it. It looks like you had a fabulous time and I'm so glad you were able to get your musicians. Congrats again!

I upgraded when I got there. I had emailed Chandlyn and Tai Flora a few months beforehand telling them that I wanted an assortment of gerber daisies. On the day of our meeting at the Riu, Chandlyn called Tai Flora and was told they were not available. But they did manage to scrounge up some dark pink gerber daisies and paired them with white roses, which looked great. BUT...they do cost a lot. My bouquet was $174, which I thought was extremely high.

I got married at the Riu which I loved. I honeymooned at the Sandals Grande Ocho Rios and I was not a huge fan (service issues, layout of the resort, etc). I haven't done my honeymoon review yet, but hopefully will get to it this week.

I am so sorry to hear this. You, your FI and his best friend's family are in my thoughts and prayers.
