Thanks for letting me know! I may rethink that idea.
  2. Brittney, if you end up buying it, let me know where you get it online. I've checked out a couple sites, but probably won't buy it for awhile.

  4. to the forum! Happy planning!!!!

I am pretty sure it is: rum, vodka, gin and brandy. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is. So, Cosmos could be made!
  6. I think I am going to put these in my OOT bags. I think they're so cute. Has anyone else used something like this? 100 BEACH THEME Cosmopolitan, Margarita COCKTAIL Mixes - (eBay item 250149727302 end time Sep-28-07 20:12:43 PDT)
  7. I wanted to buy off-the-rack BMs dresses to save money. But one of my BMs was a size that couldn't be bought off the rack, so we went to a bridal shop because they carry all sizes and can alter dresses. I got the BMs dresses for $120. The brand is Jasmine Bridal B2. Check out their website (Jasmine Bridal), they are affordable, may have something you like, and are sold at bridal shops.
  8. to the forum! I am also a ROR bride-to-be (May 200. You will find plenty of help and information here. Congrats!

If you really want NYE, maybe try to call the RIU Corporate center and check to see if there are any brides that have not confirmed yet for that date.

It's probably easier than carrying more stuff down there!

I will probably buy less than than that to begin with, just to make sure I would really need that many. I'll probably do a scattered look, so I guess maybe 10,000 petals? Does that sound right?
  13. Congrats!!!! So exciting! Now you can start all the fun stuff!

    Just a Newbie

to the forum! That's so exciting that you're renewing your vows in Jamaica! Can't wait to hear your plans.
  16. Ok, our first dance song is narrowed down to 4: 1. Thank You by Led Zeppelin (my favorite) 2. Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis (FI's favorite) 3. Just Like Heaven by the Cure ("our song") 4. Is this Love by Bob Marley (too cliche for Jamaica?)
  17. Quote: Originally Posted by BrittneyD I would do freeze dried if I only needed a small amount, but would need 1200 to do a dense aisle. That would get expensive really quickly. Brittney - I have been looking different places online and found rose petals as cheap as $8.99 for 1000 on ebay. I definitely thought they'd be more expensive. Do you think we only need 1000 or so for the whole aisle? On another note, I've also found aisle runners for a lot less than what RIU is offering. I wonder if I brought my own, if I could use that instead? How long is the aisle?
