  1. Great gifts, Alyssa! I was going to suggest a travel cosmetic bag but saw that you just saw a similar bag from Joy. I gave my girls bags like that and they all loved them because they can be used again so often.
  2. CONGRATS!!! Trust me, I know what you're feeling. I thought after I went off the pill it would take at least 2 or 3 months. But it happened on our first try too (I was off the pill for LESS than 1 month!). Like you, I drank a few times during the first month b/c I had no clue I was pregnant. Just start acting pregnant now and you'll be good. Once again, congrats! I can't wait to hear his reaction!!!
  3. That's great that he's out of surgery and doing well. Keep us updated!
  4. So cute! Matt sounds like such a sweetie!!!
  5. Congrats again, Christine! She is just so beautiful!

  7. Thanks everyone!!! Quote: Originally Posted by TA Maureen Congratulations Lizz! I am so happy for you and Mike. I searched all over the forum for your announcement but then she edited her post and said it was a PM. I just knew it though. That's so exciting! You won't be far behind me. I'm 10 weeks today. When is your due date? How have you been feeling? We will have to have a BDW get together soon, but with non-alcoholic drinks this time, lol. That's too funny that someone slipped. Yeah, I didn't want to make an announcement til I saw the doctor first so that's why I waited to tell everyone. My due date is February 25. I've been feeling really good, no sickness, just a little tired. But I've been a complete moody bitch due mostly to quitting smoking cold turkey and caffeine (I used to drink a ton of diet coke). But I'm slowly getting over it. I'm so sorry you haven't been feeling well. I really hope the medications work. Let me know if you need anything!
  8. Hey girls! I have been "lurking" around this thread for the past month wanting to post so bad, but was waiting til I saw my dr. today. I'm officialy 8 weeks pregnant!!! (Obviously a honeymoon baby...haha!). I'll be posting a lot more here. Congrats to all of you
  9. Congrats! I'm 2 months along and have no symptoms either. If I didn't have a positive test, I never would have believed it. I actually took another test about a week after the first one because I thought maybe I had a miscarriage and didn't know, just because I really had no signs of being pregnant. Is there any way that your doctor can get you in sooner? About the drinking... I did the same thing and my doctor told me not to worry. Just stop drinking now and start acting like you're pregnant... eating right, exercising, limiting caffeine, etc. Your wedding will work out. You can either try to move it up or rearrange your plans. Not to sound cliched, but everything happens for a reason, so I'm sure this will work out fine. Good luck and keep us updated!

    Sad news

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
  11. I used Snapfish for mine. I got photo cards (but not folded) that were printed on some sort of paper that I could write on, which was great. They had a huge selection of photo products, so you should check them out. Mine were about $90 for 100.
  12. Everything looks great! I love the cariacture...very cool idea!
  13. We did a welcome party also for all 85 of the guests and that was so much fun. Honestly, the rehearsal dinner was fast and low-key. I made it a "come if you feel like it" sort of invitation because I felt bad monopolizing my guests vacation (Wed. - welcome party, Thurs. - rehearsal, Fri. - wedding) who were only there for 4 nights.
  14. Everything looks great. I'm so jealous you got to wear your dress again. That's the only reason I regret not doing an AHR. Your nephew & niece are just the cutest things!
  15. Ann, that's so crazy! She is just the cutest thing!!!
  16. Carly, I'm so glad that it turned out so well. I can't wait to see PICS!!!!
  17. I have white parasols. I think maybe 6 or 7. PM me if you're interested.
  18. Heidi gave me the "Jamaica Bride" tote bag for our Secret Santa last year and I used it the entire time we were there. It is so cute and great quality.
  19. We invited our bridal party and their dates and the immediate family that was not in the wedding (just Mike's 3 sisters). It was about 40 people in total. We couldn't invite everyone b/c we had 85 people there. If it was a smaller group, I would have invited everyone though.
  20. Angelina Jolie Gives Birth to Twins - Babies, Angelina Jolie : People.com Brad Pitt was at Angelina Jolie's side as she gave birth to a son and daughter Saturday at the Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France, PEOPLE has confirmed. "The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly," Dr. Michael Sussmann told PEOPLE Sunday. "Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well." Sussmann confirmed the Nice Matin newspaper report that Jolie gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarean section on Saturday night. Knox weighed 5.03 lbs, and Vivienne 5 lbs. The twins are the fifth and sixth children for Jolie, 33, and partner Brad Pitt, 44, who are already parents to Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2. "The mother and father are very, very happy," Sussmann told PEOPLE. The doctor told the Associated Press that the Cesarean was moved forward "for medical reasons" so that the babies could be born "in the best conditions." He also said Jolie is expected to stay in the hospital for a few days. On July 1, Jolie checked in to the Fondation Lenval hospital to await the births. The family has been living in the south of France since this spring. Jolie recently told Entertainment Weekly that she was surprised – but not daunted – when she learned she was having twins. "It did shock us, and we jumped to six [children] quickly," she said. "But we like a challenge."
  21. I had my 3 year old and 8 year old nephews there. They both had the best time. There is a kids club, but neither of them went to it (it was on the other side of the resort). They had a great time in the pool with everyone during the day and watching the shows at night. There was plenty for both of them to eat (even the very picky 8 year old).
  22. She looks like a doll...she is just too cute! Congrats!!!
  23. Happy Wedding Day!!! I can't wait to hear all about it!
