  5. Jill, everything looks so great! Did you do the picture frames yourself? I love them!
  6. Brittney, I'm so sorry you're going through this, I can't imagine. It sounds like you are such a strong person and any man would be proud to be your father. Just keep doing what you're doing and hopefully he will come around. Hugs to all of you girls with similar situations

Who knows what you will think of it. Like I've said before, I love the MyRegistry.com - All Stores at One Registry site and it allows for registering at as many places as you want... I just thought with less people coming to the wedding than if it were at home, that 3 may be too many. But with my shower and whatnot, I'm sure you're right. I never heard of myregistry.com, I'll have to go check it out...thanks!
  8. Personally, I prefer Home Depot; but, I don't know anything about their registry. I registered at Target and Bed Bath & Beyond. I can't find bedding at either place that I like, so I'm thinking of registering somewhere else too. I thought 3 was too many for a DW, but it seems like a lot of people do it, so I'm not too worried about it.

The auction the seller posted for me was 8 tags for $18 and then it was $7 for shipping.
  14. Sorry you're having problems, Mo. Those bridal shop workers can be so mean. I had alterations done this morning for $85 for a bridesmaids dress and I thought that was a lot! I can only imagine how I'd feel if I had to pay $320. It sucks that you have to pay the extra cost, but I'm sure you will look beautiful no matter what. Can't wait to see pics!
  15. I agree with everyone else that you need to call them and tell them to send you a new one asap. I love it too! It looks great and I love the quotes!

That may just be for the CD of images.I think if you are paying for 5 hours of photography, you should make sure you can pruchase as much as you want. I could be wrong though. Thanks, Brittney! I have to look at that list again, it confused me when I first saw it a few months ago and haven't really looked at again.

  19. I agree with everyone, Jackie Mathey is a great name, and you will hardly ever use it in speaking to someone anyway. BTW - I love my name Elizabeth and I always tried to get people to start calling me that, but it was so hard because I was Lizz since I was a baby. The first semester of every year at college, in classes when they asked if I had a nickname I said no my name was "Elizabeth". After a day or so, it was too hard, so I was back to "Lizz" again...lol!

It's all different categories and pictures etc. etc. The basic charge is $150, then $90 per hour. I want to use them for 5 hours and then probably get a lot of pictures, a disc of the pics and a video. Hopefully, it's not too much more than $1000, but I budgeted that just in case.

We are super psyched to be working with Robin - her deal worked perfectly within our budget, and she's such a sweetheart! We can't wait to meet her Thanks for the info! RIU seems to be a huge pain to get an outside photographer in, though a lot of the girls are doing it. Maybe I'll check out Sungold. Do they have a website?

  23. to the forum, Michelle!!! Congrats on your engagement! You will find tons of advice here. Tell us more about what you want...how many guests, an all-inclusive or not, what countries you have in mind, etc.

AHR = At Home Reception
  25. I am using the resort photographer. I debated whether or not to hire an outside one, but to be honest, photography isn't one of my main priorities (no disrespect to all of the photographers here!) (also...funny since this forum is so about pictures...lol!). I am guessing that it will cost anywhere from $1000-$2000 to use the contracted RIU photographer.
