    Wow! You really have a lot of it together! I love all of the stuff you have picked out already! What is your wedding date? Are you using the photographer at the resort or an outside photographer? I am using the Plantation Restaurant for the reception dinner. Chandlyn told me that they can do tables of 8 there. Also, I think you need to use that restaurant if your party is more than 60. I'm waiting to hear back from her so I know what color table linens are provided.

    We got engaged in April and I wanted about a year to plan. It had to be after April 15 because one of my best friends is an accountant and she wouldn't be able to make it during tax season. So we chose May. We wanted a Friday wedding, so people could have a day to recover before flying home Sunday. We ended up with the 16th because almost every other weekend in May one of my best friends is a bridesmaid in a wedding!

    I just told my coworker that I am done buying my BMs stuff! But then I saw those little jewelry pouches. I am soooo close to ordering them. My colors are pink and lime green. Everytime I see something in those colors, I feel a need to buy it!

    I love it...very cool! I have one of those Lenox ones, it's pretty traditional. To be honest, I never even knew ring holders existed! My friend gave me it as an engagement present and I was like "uh...what is this?"

    I was just talking to my TA about this exact issue. We figure that we'll be at the RIU for 7 or 8 days with a lot of guests, so when they leave, we'll probably want a change of scenery (new food, new sights, etc.). We were thinking Negril, but she pointed out that it's farther away than Montego Bay; so, I think we're going to either stay in Ocho Rios or travel to Montego Bay. She told us about the Jamaica Inn, which is a small and intimate (47 rooms) romantic place. I'm leaning towards that, but also considering Sandals, Rose Hall and a few others. Let me know what you end up deciding...

    to the forum! Congrats on your recent engagement. I am getting married at the RIU Ocho Rios in May 2008. I decided on the RIU because it was relatively inexpensive for my guests (about $1000 including air from Philly for 4 nights). Look in the Jamaica section in the forum and you will finds tons of information. There are a lot of RIU brides, at least 1 Couples, 1 Beaches, 1 Sandals and more! Let us know how we can help you.
