  1. Dear FI, You are almost 34 years old. It is time to grow up and start being responsible. I know you have a great job and blah blah blah, but that does not mean you can turn into a raging 16 year old kid whose parents are out of town every weekend. We live in a nice house. It is NOT a frat house. I don't like walking down my basement and seeing it covered with empty beer cans and pizza boxes. Fine, you and your friends get drunk while watching Sunday football, that is perfectly acceptable. But, I am not your maid and I will not clean up your drunk messes. Please start acting your age and learn how to drink like an adult and clean up after yourself and your friends. Thank you! Dear Self, Do not walk down the basement until Mike has finished cleaning it, it will only piss you off even more. Dear Corks, Please behave and go to the vet with us tonight and be a good doggy. You have an ear infection and we need to get you better. It is so cute when you shake your head side to side, but I know it's hurting you.
  2. I'd definitely be interested. My BMs would love them! Let me know what you girls end up doing...
  3. Drea, I'm pretty sure I PMed you with my address (if not, let me know!). Here is my list: 1. passport cover and luggage tag 2. blue starfish jewel for bouquet (I'd really like to have one I can keep) 3. gift cards: Target, Old Navy, whatever I'm really open to anything, so a surprise gift would be fun too!
  4. Susan, Congrats!!!!! Have a great time, can't wait to hear all about it when you get back.
  5. Dear Sarah, I'm glad you are going to pick your brother up. You must be soooo excited to see him! Dear Christa, I'm sorry you're going through this crap with your DH. Let us know how it goes with the mortgage.

Some things popped into my mind that I thoought you girls may be able to help me with. 1. I don't really have jewelry yet. I bought a rhinestone necklace that kinda drops down if you know what I mean. I don't love it but that style looks good with the dress so I aml ooking for jewelry at Macy's today. Other than there where else should I go look? It may be too late for me to order online. Oh yeah and I still need a purse (God this list keeps getting longer!) I'm planning on going to Claire's or one of those stores in the mall. A lot of the times they have nice fake jewelry for proms/weddings. 2. I bought my BM's LL Bean tote bags and then took them to my Mom's friend to have their names embroidered. Well she did a crappy job and the thread does not match the color of the straps. At this point, should I just give them to the girls with their gifts inside or should I try to find something else? I am having a BM's brunch on Saturday the 21st to give them their gifts. If you really don't like the way they look, go out shopping and see if anything catches your eye. I'm sure they won't care if the colors don't match exactly though. 3. I ordered white silk satin flip flops with beading from advantage bridal. It turns out they are much whiter than my dress. My dress isn't ivory but I guess it's not pure white either. Once the ceremony is over I am changing into white flip flops that say Just Married on the bottom. So my question is should I try to order new flip flops maybe in silver to match the beading in my dress or just use what I have because you can hardly see them anyway? If you can hardly see them, I wouldn't worry about it. 4. For ROR girls, are you tipping Chandlyn, if so how much? Who else are you tipping? Like Brittney said, I'm only tipping her if she does a good job. 5. Also for ROR girls, do you know if Mammee Bay has a dress code? My rehearsal dinner will be there and I was wondering if I have to tell the guys to wear pants or if shorts are okay? I think at most resorts, there is some sort of a dress code for dinner (long pants etc.), but I'm not sure about RIU. Any help or advice on these topics would be greatly appreciated! Hope this helps!

  16. Jenn, I LOVE it! But, like you said, if Sam is wearing a tux, it may be a little too informal for the actual ceremony. I say wear your original dress, then if you're hot or uncomfortable, go change into the second dress.
