I would suggest making OOT bags filled with stuff that is specific to Maryland. I went to a wedding in Baltimore this summer and our bag had crabcake mix in it (sorry, I can't remember what else right now). When my friend did bags for her wedding in Philly, she put in things specific to Philly: Hershey's candy, Utz potato chips, etc. If you're going to have your wedding in Ocean City, you could also keep with the beach theme and I know you have plenty of ideas for that!

She is good...haha! No matter what I do, I can't seem to get Mike involved. Which is probably good because his input may not be want I want to hear! But, it does get annoying that he has no clue what he or the groomsmen are wearing. I think as the date gets closer, he'll get more psyched, but right now it just seems so far away to him. The good thing is whenever I tell him about things I've chosen, he just says "sounds good!". But thanks for your suggestions, Reggie!

Sorry you're having such a tough time. I'm in the complete opposite situation, where my FMIL seems to not even realize we're getting married...lol! I agree that you shouldn't count on the money, just use your original budget and then if she gives you some money, use it towards any extras you may want.
