to the forum! I am getting married at the ROR in May. You will find tons of info and pics here. Happy planning!!!
  3. I voted for #2. It will complement your dress so well.
  4. I think one of my BMs will do it for me. I never wear make-up so I'm not looking to do too much. She did it for a wedding we were in a few months ago and it looked nice.
  5. to the forum! I'm not familiar with Playa Fiesta, but I'm sure you will find the help you need here. Happy planning!!!
  6. I think if you can, you should try to find a way to get back to Minneapolis to do them. It sounds like that's what you have your heart set on and it would be cool to do it in a place that means so much (where you first met).
  7. What a cutie! Your husband must have been so excited!
  8. I'm pretty sure Courtney is in charge of it (but correct me if I'm wrong!).
  9. My FI and his GM are all wearing linen shirts and pants, no jackets and not tucked in. I decided not to get any of them boutonnières.

I'm getting my flowers in Montego Bay and so far am really happy with my florist. Granted, my stepfather is a florist, so we are buying in bulk and arranging ourselves, but this place has been REALLY helpful so far, and cheap! They are from the states, which also makes them a little easier to work with. The store is called TPG distributors and I have the owners email. Find out if you can bring in from outside and maybe it will work for you! I researched tons of outside florists and my plan was to use one. I had a great quote from one in Kingston and I confirmed with the RIU that I was allowed to use an outside florist at no additional charge, so I thought I was all set. Well, when I contacted the florist a few weeks ago to tell her I was ready to send my deposit and confirm everything, she told me that she does not do contracts. So I am very uneasy with sending almost $600 internationally with no contract to someone I've never met. That's why I started researching the parasol idea. If you could give me the owners email to TPG, that would be awesome!

  14. I voted for 1-tier ivory. They would all be beautiful, but I'm a fan of 1-tier and the traditional ivory coloring.

  17. I've never been to one, but a girl I work with went to one and ended up winning $10,000 in a drawing they had there! How cool would that be! She also said everyone gets a nice gift bag filled with wedding stuff.

Thanks for letting me know about signing up for their emails, I never even thought of that. Let us know how they turn out!

  20. My OOT bags include: lip balm, playing cards and dice, tissues, personalized cups, flip flop notepads, travel candles, flip flop gummy candy, personalized matches, and not sure what else yet. There are a ton of threads on here about what people are putting in their OOT bags. Check out some of these for ideas: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t672 Registry, Gifts, and OOT bags

I punched a hole in the top. Now I just need to attach the tags to the bags with ribbon.
