We're moving to a Sandals for that part of the trip! So, planning-wise, I just wanted to know if we were supposed to have things like the reception dinner and spa reservations booked by now, but I emailed a Riu wedding coordinator and all she said was don't worry about any of that till 1 month before...is it better to call them then? Should I be worried? I heard Negril is awesome, I can't wait to hear all about it! I booked my reception and spa appointments already. I am pretty sure most of us did. If you don't want to wait til 1 month before, tell the WC that you would feel better getting confirmation now. I was too nervous to wait til April to book stuff.

I'm definitely going to have to get our marriage blessed when we get back from Jamaica. Both of our moms really want us to; and I guess I need to now if I want to be a godmother in the future!
  3. I'm having she talks about it: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t11534 I haven't heard of anyone having their reception there though...sorry!

  6. That sucks you're sick, I'm sorry, Christa. You should definitely go in there armed with 5 boxes of tissues, 8 things of cough drops, the works and play it up.

That seems crazy to me and I think I might go insane before that! If you have your heart set on the ROR, you should try to call them. I originally had the 12:00 slot, but then there were 2 cancellations and I was able to move to 4:00. This was in the past month, so they may be available, but not on the website. As you read more on the forum (especially the Jamaica section), you'll see that most of us are crazy and are doing as much as we can before we go there. Let us know what you want to plan and we'll try to help you out!

I keep hearing about that damn Jerk Hut...lol!
  16. Thanks Carly & Heidi! I'll let you know how many and colors as soon as I get a sec.

  20. I think if it's not a huge extra expense or burden, you should do it. It sounds as if it would mean a lot to Matt. By the way, thanks for telling us about this, I never realized that was the case about becoming godparents. I told my mom we would get our marriage blessed, but now I guess I have to make sure we really do it!
  21. I love your new siggy. He is just soooo adorable!!!
