wow....these kids either need better teachers or to stop using spell check!!!!! i teach in an elementary school and still laugh every time i see 'hores' for horse and 'penis' for pens

i bought the canvas totes that are in michaels and other craft stores...got them from rag shop before they went out of business, but will definitely need more. i think they're thicker than the cheap totes ones....we're going to iron our logo on but replace our names with puerto vallarta so ppl can use them again. i'm doing one per room, and don't think i even have singles (except my sis and the best man, who are rooming together but will get separate bags anyway). QUESTION: where do you find water bottles w/o labels already on them? AND: where did you get the flip flop playing cards? OTC?

i bought them at michaels (on sale, 5 for $10) and will use the iron on paper to put the logo on the back of the shirt...i'm debating having names embroidered onto the front but i dont think many of the men will wear it if i do...maybe just my dad and FI's dad.

i LOVE the last dress....prob is i'm 5'0" and have what my mother calls birthing hips....so nothing ever fits right! i've also bought a bunch of white to wear that week...i guess we're all nerds

wow!!! sounds like quite an interesting situation!!! you really think FMIL would do anything to make your day less than perfect if so, i'd talk to her (or have FI talk to her) FIRMLY - tell her you want the day to be perfect for her son, and any issues will have to be resolved once they're back on u.s. soil. and that if she doesn't comply you'll make sure she never sees her grandkids....lol...kinda.....

keith collects watches, so i thought about that, but the watches that he wants are a few thousand $$$ and i can't afford that...so i'm thinking a really good watch winder (like $1k) or this driving experience that he's talked about (but apparently i wasn't listening) - not the nascar one, it's like ferrari or something. did anyone get their FI an engagement present after you got the ring?

we're just doing general OOT things too: first aid kit, head/tummy meds, spanish phrases, tees for the guys w/ our logo on it (figure since the ladies will use the bags), etc.. not really anything cultural.

my parents gave us $10k and his gave us $3k...well...all that is pretty much gone after travel for us ($6000 - we're flying 1st), the wedding package and the photographer...we're paying any little things (OOT bag stuff, STDs, invites, material for DIY projects) as well as our clothes, wedding bands (got a quote of $5k!!!!!!!!INSANE!!!), dj, and travel for 1 BM and 1 GM...my parents also paid for my sis to travel, which was nice b/c she's paying for my whole shower.

kendra, i know what you're talking about....i've been getting the: "what, is your shower going to be in greece?" "i wish you'd just change the location" "can't you have an at home reception?" and my personal favorite: "if it's an AI, doesn't that mean we're paying for our own wedding dinner?" my FMIL keeps telling me to remember that it's OUR wedding and if they don't want to, they don't have to come. i'm fine w/ people not coming, but ironically enough, those are the people who have already booked. i said this earlier today in another post - you can't please everyone all the time...since it's YOUR day, please yourself. period.
