  1. happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear heidi, happy birthday to you! hope this year brings everything you wish for!
  2. opinions needed - and my sister doesn't care anymore, lol... here are the links to the possible gifts: these are from tiffany's, both bangle bracelets between $185-$200 (can't do necklaces b/c dress is halter) or or do i design my own bags from 1154lill and buy these: AND total for earrings and bracelet would be about $10, incl. shipping... THEN, what do i do about my sister (moh)? do i buy her the same as my bms if i do tiffany's stuff? or do i make a bag and buy her cheaper, different jewelry....? (sorry - dont know why pic so big, tried resizing....)
  3. fi and i both got our cars w/ it...i can't live w/o it now! he also has a garmin c220 and we believe (but could be wrong) that it does say the street name. it also has traffic updates. the screen is about 4x3. he keeps it in his little weekend car...we'd use it more often if we didn't have it in the cars already. check out epinions.com and see what other people say...
  4. congrats and welcome! i'm a dreams pv bride...let me know if i can be of any assistance!
  5. i like #1, but only if you wear that ring, and your e-ring on the other hand...otherwise i'm going w/ #5...i think....
  6. sarah, i'm sorry to hear that you're sick, but stay positive and you'll get thru...you're in my thoughts!
  7. thanks everyone! i did have a good day - and k's taking me out for dinner at an undisclosed location....hope they have good wine!!! thank you again!
  8. welcome! i'm a pv bride too..where are you getting married?
  9. yep im interested too!! how much for the ones in the 4th pic? and how many?
  10. i love them! i just need the 'i do' one, tho, b/c FI doesn't drink coffee...
  11. i vote for shaved...nice and easy, don't have to worry about a bad hair day
  12. i thought about getting my bms an excursion or a mani/pedi, but then my mom pointed out that in the long run, they'd appreciate something they could keep rather than an experience...i'm getting bracelets for mine, but what about a coverup for over a bathing suit? maybe one in wedding colors, or personalized, or jamaican colors (tho i dont think i'd wear a jamaican colored one). i also toyed with the idea of a nice anklet...
  13. yep, moving blows....but when you stand back and look at the finished product (eventually, i assure you), it's remarkable...i hope you took before pics - you'll have to post them w/ some after pics so we can see what an incredible difference it is! read a few blog entries - isn't closing a bitch?! we sat around from 9am to 7pm on a friday just waiting to see if the sellers were even willing to close...and then the bank that FI went thru (notoriously slow to begin w/) was threatening to close for the night - good thing FI's a broker; and good thing the guy took his threats seriously keep us posted - and i hope you feel better soon!!!

They have a bunch of different ones. I'm also ordering the milagros from this company. Here's the pic: Oh - and Lauren ... I also was going to ask you whether you're having you're reception at an all-inclusive? It seems that a lot of girls who did AI's got a ton of things thrown in! I also forgot to include the piece of advice a very good friend gave me! She warned me against falling into the trap of buying a ton of "stuff" --- she said "Total up the entire amount you are spending on each guest and ask yourself - would I hand this person that amount of cash?" As crazy as it sounds .... it really makes you think hard about what you're spending and why! yes, it's AI, but i feel like it's the kind of place where they nickel and dime you for everything....that IS good advice tho... Finally - the candles ... a little hard to see in the picture. There is no way I could fly with 18 of these ... plus, what if they got broken, etc. And, after pricing them, I don't think that the $$ saved is worth the hassle! how much are you being charged? the quote that i got for those pillars was between $30 and $40 usd for EACH ONE!!!! it was a bit absurd... Last thing I promise! We are planning to have a supply of sunscreen, advil, dramamine, etc. in our room and we'll let our guests know. We just thought that would be cheaper than trying to provide individual supplies - especially since many people will probably bring their own. this makes so much sense - especially b/c i just bought 72 immodium pills on ebay- b/c i thought that they were the little individual packs and they weren't...so now i'm stuck anyway... keep the comments/advice coming!

  18. i'm having a similar dilemma - dont know what i want, but want whatever it is to be fun and not too $$ for all involved... let me know what you pick!
  19. everytime i look at the title of this thread i think of the song "where do broken hearts go?"...i'm looney.
