ugh, that sucks! imo, if you're really set on dreams cancun, then leave it as a tuesday...but know that some people may not be able to make it....however, they still could come on a fri/sat and stay till wed....? if you're set on a sat. then start looking around... you have to decide which is more important...

i didn't want one either and my sister told me tough sh*t. but i like the idea of going to a nice restaurant - use all of the $$ the FMIL would spend on the shower to put toward a nice family meal - you two, the inlaws, your fam, even close friends, etc...the most important people in your lives... go to per se and then i can live vicariously thru you

we don't have the animal one - i dont remember which model we have, but it's yellow...even tho it's not the animal, it still works on hardwood. i use the regular vacuum part and then go over the quarter-round w/ the hose...i vacuum the micro-fiber couches, i dust our bedroom furniture w/ it, etc...it's a tad heavy for me (i'm tiny), but i manage!
