  1. thanks shelley, i'd appreciate it...i have no problem buying one, but would have nothing borrowed....i can also send it home w/ my parents and they can mail it as soon as they get home (2/19).
  2. im too late too...what was she doing w/ the superglue in the first place??
  3. so how do i know if i'm senior enough? i was hoping to have it as my something borrowed....
  4. i like #2 best but i hit #3 by accident...i like the simplicity of it and don't think it will take anything away from your dress.
  5. i wasn't sure where to put this thread... anyone know where the traveling starfish is? or who's taking care of it? tia!
  6. awwww i want one!!! she's so cute!
  7. i'm pretty good w/ makeup on an everyday basis, but like others have said, add tears and heat and i'll be a mess...so i'm having a pro do it at the resort.
  8. i'll prob have leftover too, but won't sell until the end of february...as it stands, i have about 20 of everything, and will probably only use 14-15 bags...
  9. they have women's brown for $.99 and a few colors in men's for $1.49. $2.50 isn't terrible if you don't have many guests.
  10. so i'm definitely feeding our photographer, and invited his wife to join us, if she's traveling with him...he's also shooting our rehearsal dinner, and i will invite him to eat, of course...i don't know where he's staying yet, but if it's with us, i'll pay for his cab to the rehearsal dinner...and may pay regardless of where he stays...so here's the ??...do i give him an OOT bag? or is that overboard?
  11. if i have to choose, i say #2...but i think a plain veil would be best - kinda feel like less is more here....so i didn't vote. where'd you find decent priced veils tho? i'm still searching (and running out of time!)
  12. i like the title of this thread getting them sewn in would be easiest, but i don't know what it will cost...
  13. i voted nine west. i dont like the cork on the other...i love your ceremony shoes tho!
  14. i've been attaching everything with eyelets (scrapbooking section of michaels). i like the way eyelets and brad look; i feel like they add something to the paper. here's a pic (but a bad one) of my menus, eyelets at top of both. wound up using design at right, and put dark raffia between eyelets. then stuck one glue dot at bottom so that part stayed attached. here's my oot tag before hanging. it's a better pic of the eyelets. also, ask FMIL what to use!
  15. i like both. i say wear one of each! i did vote for the white tho, as it'll match both dresses....
  16. when we put our house up for sale, and people were coming in and out, eddie started to pull out his fur b/c we had to put them in a cat cage all day. the vet gave us some kitty prozac and it worked, but was a bitch to get him to take it. i also recommend feliway. it comes in 2 forms, a spray and a plug in. it's cat pheromones that calm the kitty down. we use the plug in so we don't have to spray all the time. you can find it at any petco/petsmart/etc. but it IS pretty pricey - about $40 for the first and $25 for refills...less than a vet tho... you can also get bach's flower remedy to put in your cat's water. it supposedly has a similar calming effect, but i've never used it. i know i sound like the crazy cat lady, but we REALLY researched before buying purebred cats, and then researched every little strange thing they did. hope this helps!
  17. no liquor sold in grocery stores and 7-11s in nj! we actually have to go to the liquor store for any kind of alcohol...some sam's clubs and costcos sell liquor, but none around here...however, they are open on sundays
  18. we use the pillsbury stuff from a can... i like the taste of it, but would def. buy from a pizza parlor if i was having a party. i looove looove loooove goat cheese! yummy on pizza! what about ricotta cheese? i know lots of people who like white pizzas. my favorite pizzas are anything with vegetables (peppers, mushrooms) and baked ziti pizza, which is fantastic, but two meals in one, and probably not so great for a party.
  19. oh yeah, forgot to mention: one of our litterboxes has the hood with the flap door...the other is just a regular tupperware from walmart (the big, deep rectangular ones). fi cut a hole in the top, and put window edging on the edges of the hole, making it a top-in litter box. they sell these at pet stores, but they are 30 for the same thing! top-in boxes dont smell as much and leave less dust tracking.
  20. we got one the other day that had a little magnet, about 1 1/2 x 3, and it was in a tiny envelope with the hotel info, but it wasn't a dw. we sent ours out with our pamphlet about the area.
