  1. oh oh oh, i'm gonna participate - i actually have some time! i'll change mine asap.
  2. i also wore a bride hat. i don't usually do hats, but it was damn cute and hell, it was my wedding week! dh got tired of seeing it, but i told him that i had to live it up, as it was the only time i'd be able to wear it!

  5. i bring my lunch to work w/ me every day. on sundays, i go grocery shopping and lay out all of my food for the week. i measure everything and put salad and cold cuts in 5 tupperwares, cut up fruits and veggies, measure cottage cheese or yogurt, etc. my fridge is filled w/ tupperware, but in the morning, i just grab and go - rather than grabbing a can of fattening/high sodium soup or some microwave meal. hummus is also a saviour!
  6. if cabo is the same as pv, you'll actually pay at concierge, rather than pay the wc herself. make sure you take that spreadsheet!

I have looked at different websites with no luck, they are all cheesy! Any Suggestions? oh oh oh, those are mine! i'm so flattered that someone remembered here's a pic: feel free to use that one...i always like the infamous "one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor"... i also like morgan's "what happens in cabo stays in cabo - unless you're here w/ family", but i think it's a bit long for a tee. - Mas tequila, por favor? - cabo - where there's beer for breakfast - i'll keep thinking
  8. i wore strapless or halter dresses almost every night...i found a bunch on sale at the end of the summer at white house, black market. i also found a plain white skirt for $5 (!) at ann taylor loft. during the day, i wore a bathing suit. i took the straps down when i was laying out, but put them on to walk around. the day before, i got a little burned around my halter bikini top, but i didn't even care about tan lines by the day we got married.
  9. Cheesecake Factory, Cherry Hill Sunday, April 27th Time: TBD 1. Alyssa 2. Kelly 3. lauren (need to make this more than 10 characters)

Thanks thanks thanks!! i bought a circle cutter from michaels (and several extra blades) for all of the circles. stickers would have been the right way to go, lol, but they were all thick cardstock, attached with glue dots. some (most, maybe?) of them had eyelets on them, to keep them in place, and to put the ribbon thru. i'm not going to lie - they were VERY time consuming, and i probably should have done an easier shape, or used stickers, or both. hth!
  11. when are we actually deciding? please, don't base it on me...i really would love to be there, and would much prefer maggianos or cheesecake factory to jew food, but whatever works for all!
  12. i don't think those coincide.... if you want affordability, you go during rainy season. if you want good weather, it's not as inexpensive. we were there in february. there were no clouds, except for one day, where there were clouds for about 2 hrs. on average, each couple paid $1200 for 5 nights.
  13. they are SO cute! i want to read your story, tho....i tried but i'm assuming i'm missing a lot of pages.....
  14. i agree, i think it would be perfect - but i'm not sure if they'd be willing to spend the $... they make it difficult !
  15. my parents and the rest of the 55+ crowd from our wedding want to go on an anniversary vacation...they're looking at all-inclusives in mexico or possibly caribbean, or even a cruise...BUT there are 12 of them, and they don't want to have to deal with being able to get dinner reservations 1x/week. at dreams, they had the ability to eat wherever, whenever. a big group would sometimes have to wait, but it was better than not being able to eat anywhere but the buffet. any suggestions?? doesn't have to be a be a vacation spot designated for seniors, either...these kids know how to party

  18. i've decided against them b/c i'm just way too gross to take my clothes off and pose. i promised to love and cherish in thin and thinner and i've already broken that vow. idk about your men, but dh would be happiest to see me in a sports bra and boyshorts (if not nudies)...he doesn't like lingerie, so that part would be a waste of $. what about some button down shirts that aren't buttoned up? think about things that you already have in your closet. returning the shoes is a good idea...i'd prob do that too!
  19. i have a hot, single, down to earth sister who despises games! come to ny/nj
  20. for the first flight, it was put in the first class closet (we flew first, tho, and i'm not sure if these flight attendants would have done it for me if we were flying coach). for the connecting flight, the coat closet was only about 3 ft tall, so i laid it in the overhead compartment. it was a little squished, but when we got there, my dress was pressed anyway so it didn't matter. my dress wasn't heavy at all but it was bulky and a pain to carry...luckily we found a spot to sit, and i draped it over both carry-ons and it was fine. on the way home, it was wet, sandy, and stuffed in a garbage bag
  21. here's a pic of my menu: we picked 3 orange drinks (our color) and named 2 after important places - where we met and where we got engaged. the last drink was an orange margarita b/c hey - it was mexico! we weren't charged for it, as it was an AI, but i dont know if non-AIs would charge. btw, if you are looking for an orange drink, that 'rockefeller' was REALLY good! cherry liqueur, vodka, and sprite - SO yummy!
