  1. i def. like those vases...i don't know if i like them w/ the blue, but it's not my house, and i don't have to live w/ it!
  2. you have what, 5 ft of space there? if you only put a plant there, it's a lot of wasted space. what about a tall bookcase? or a matching shelf/ladder thing that you have next to the tv?
  3. i think the price is fantastic idk, it's a nice vase, but i agree w/ sea princess said about combining primary colors or kid room colors.
  4. you also have a lot of empty wall space next to the pic on that wall. are you keeping that lamp in the corner? if not, you could put up dark wood shelves and put some accent pieces on the shelves...i'd put some books and maybe use large candles as bookends. west elm | search (can you tell i'm bored and ready to redecorate my own home?)
  5. here's a duvet cover i found on ebay. you could drape something like this across the back of the couch: TOMMY HILFIGER TOILE DUVET COVER AQUA LIME GREEN BLUE - eBay (item 130241542480 end time Aug-03-08 18:09:23 PDT) the blue throw could sit on the chair, or could be a spare...
  6. ok i can't find it, but here's a different one: tammy, here's the link for color: Bonita Street by Kate Spade - Vases - Bloomingdales.com
  7. go to Behr Paint and Wood Stain - House Paint and Wood Stains and use the color finder tool. search for asparagus, or colors around there. it's a brighter olive...i have a vase that would match your room perfectly...i'll find a pic.
  8. maybe your sister's child will be a PITA teenager...that'll get her back.... i've been following your mommies to be thread, and am so sorry you've been sick....you were sick w/ morgan, and look how great she is now! just keep that in mind...it's my only advice as a person who has never been pregnant (so i guess take it w/ a grain of salt). vent here often too...that always helps me!
  9. i like dark brown too. that's my #1 choice if it's a choice...
  10. ok, i like the 3rd one but not w/ red...i also like the 2nd. i'm thinking lime green, or a bright olive green - the middle of the candle that's on that shelf. i don't really like cornflower/royal blue w/ orange (reminds me of the mets, or other sports teams), and red and blue might look flag-ish...jmho (however, i just asked my sister and w/o seeing the pics, she said she'd prob pic red or orange....)

For instance, if you dont want your hair style done there, will they allow you to skip that and add a few extra photo's from the photographer. Something like that i can't speak for cancun, but in pv, they did not charge anything extra for beach vs. gazebo. when you purchase a package, you have the choice of where you want it, and you can change your mind 2930780211 times beforehand. 12. happy birthday jen!!!! live it up today!
  13. happy wedding day martha!!!! i hope you and jay have the wedding of your dreams, and that noah behaves all day!
  14. wow, that is a TON of info! i think it's fine the way it is, but if you're looking to make changes, you could put the vaccination stuff on the website. i'd leave the passport stuff in only b/c some people don't realize they need a passport to go anywhere, and b/c it does take some time. ...also you could put "see website for more accommodations". you def. want to consider postage...think about how heavy 6 pages of cardstock (i'm assuming cardstock) will be stapled together, and how much postage each one will be. i would take some cut outs to the post office, see how much it would weigh for each page and narrow it down from there.
  15. i think it depends on individual situations. i brought all of my stuff down and then went to walmart in pv to buy snacks. i split some stuff between my parents, my in-laws and myself. i checked all of it, and brought receipts just in case customs tried to claim i'd be selling it. some people give it out before going to their destination b/c it's too much to pack. i think there have been a few girls who bought most of their stuff at their destination, but only if they were familiar with the area.
  16. awesome! i'm such an idiot, when i did all of the logo stuff, i printed it on cardstock and then used glue dots to glue one color to another, when i should have used stickers. i also used a circle scrapbooking cutout thing when i should have used a punch out...would have saved a lot of time and a LOT of paper! some brands have more than one peel spot, but good thinking w/ the exacto!
  17. the few times i did poop from the colonix, it was stringy poop. idk why either, but i normally eat healthy foods, and rarely eat junk (except this week for some reason). since the colonix, i did the sacred heart diet, which really helped my digestion, and i still make the soup on a weekly basis. i also bought the yogi tea, but i only drank it once b/c i didn't love the taste. it did make me poop tho. guess different people, different poop! EDIT: did you try metamucil, or anything like that? bet that stuff is tons cheaper...
  18. the biggest problem w/ a dw is that someone will ALWAYS be unhappy...since you're the bride, that person should NOT be you. pick a place, pick a date. if people can come, great! if not, well, that's too bad. we sent out an std that said (in other words) that we'd be delighted if you could join us, but understand if you can't. we told ppl that we were not having an ahr, and if they missed mexico, they missed the wedding. people complained about the dates, the money, everything you can think of, but in the end, the people that wanted to be there showed up w/ luggage, but no complaints. put yourself first.
  19. wow, those are fantastic! your wedding must have been a blast!
  20. oh i know...there's also Buy Gold - Instant Cash for Gold Jewelry & Gold Scrap if you have gold to get rid of...they may take other stuff too. i like the stories behind the exboyfriend stuff - 'the cheating bastard...' lol! not sure if anyone's planning on buying anything, but most of the purses are fake, so make sure you get authenticity papers!
  21. this site is hysterical! dh just walked in and said, "there's another site just like this one. it's called ebay." lol...
  22. if you typed in 2 ppl, then my assumption is it's for both of you...
  23. i'd leave the wagon pink, and use some blue tulle, or blue ribbons. my mil bought me a heart shaped lenox ring holder. it's not my taste, but it's cute and heart shaped. mine is crystal, but i wish i had this one: Amazon.com: Lenox Wedding Promises Silver Plate 2-Piece Ring Holder and Heart Box: Kitchen & Dining i have a digital frame too. it holds 3,000 pics. Buy the Smartparts 12.1" Digital Picture Frame and other Digital frames at circuitcity.com i don't think the giver paid that much for it tho, so search around. it comes in different colors too. my favorite things, as cheesy as they are, were a fisherman's hat that says bride in rhinestones, a matching t-shirt, and flip flops that say i 'heart' him. he got matching ones - all would be perfect for the honeymoon! i'll keep thinking. oh i also got some cute things like this: Amazon.com: Sponge Glove- Pink & Black with White Dots: Kitchen & Dining do they live together? do they have a house?
  24. a friend of mine did that. she actually had a friend take cute pics of her and took it to staples to make it into a calendar. they hung it in their home office.
