  2. awww, poor thing! there's no other door that you can open in hopes of it finding its own way out?
  3. maura, everything looks fantastic! you're SO prepared!!!!
  4. that's awesome!! so cool that you were able to touch and swim w/ them in their natural environment.
  5. ok girlies, my sis is coming up on thursday night. we're hitting kion lounge, and who knows where else we'll wind up. i have to check out kion for dh's surprise party, and if it sucks, i'm up for anything. i know everyone has to work on friday, but we'd be at penn at 9:30ish and could be downtown by 10. anyone interested in meeting for a drink?
  6. i put my hair in a ponytail, put on my drying dress and and put on a smile the next morning. there is no protocol...it's whatever works for you!

I don't even need to be exerting myself I am just the sweating kind. The glistening kind rather. I don't smell though. ugh, i walked w/ dh to the subway the other day - a 2 block walk and i was literally dripping...and it's not just the glistening kind...i carry deodorant jic.
  10. OH! along the same lines - when my cousin's graduated, they bought a blow up boat and filled it w/ seafood...you could do the same w/ ice!
  11. i didn't reapply once. i was only sweating during the pictures tho, as it was a sunset ceremony and there was a breeze, and then it was cool during the reception. just remember - photoshop/lightroom can fix anything! (even the bump on my nose that i hate!)
  12. love love LOVE the shoes! where'd ya get those?
  13. um...online, lol! i don't know what you have in canada. i've seen big buckets in the supermarkets here tho.
  14. i was just thinking about the metal buckets - i think they'd heat up a lot faster than plastic, and would melt the ice faster...but jmo.
  15. you can get styrofoam coolers and decorate them w/ tulle and paint pens...or what about 70 gallon buckets like these: [url/http://www.fortexfortiflex.com/plasticbuckets.html[/url]? you can decorate them and put tons of ice in. there are also metal buckets, but idk how big they are.
  16. yuck, jen, i'm sorry. when you go in, ask how they're going to fix it before you let them touch you...have them show you in a mirror so they don't make it worse... (and you should get your $ back, but that's a separate issue...)
  17. time traveler's wife comes out in the theaters this nov. i believe. again, read the book before seeing the movie.
