i don't know how long i believed these - they weren't adult beliefs, but the best i can do when i was younger, my mom didn't like to give me sugary cereals. when we went to visit my aunt in long island, i would always have cocoa krispies. one day, i was in the supermarket with my mom and i said "look! cocoa krispies!" my mom told me they were just advertising for the stores in long island. the ice cream man would always pass by my house right before dinner. my mom always told me he was taking a test run. know how right before a commercial, a show will say "___ is brought to you by ___"? dh grew up thinking the verb was "broughtoyoud"

i lose in my hands too - but it's mostly water weight lost. i love when my fingers look slender and skinny instead of looking like the sausages that they really are.

we wrote in out std brochure that there are tons of hotels in pv, but this is where we're staying, and should you choose to stay elsewhere, there's a fee. everyone wound up staying w/ us, but 1 or 2 not, we would have paid. if there were more, we would not have. have you told your guests that you'd pay? if not, make it clear that you won't, and maybe they'll be more likely to choose your hotel!

i'm so sorry to hear about your breakup...you definitely deserve a vacation!

no collections for me. dh collects transformers (still in box). his father on the other hand - whew! you name it, he has a collection of it!

i don't even know where to look. i keep bouncing from the florida keys to puerto rico, costa rica to jamaica...i think i may leave this to dh...but if anyone has suggestions, offer them up!

i think it's a great idea, but tapas can be hard to make for many people. i like the sangria and chocolate part

i agree w/ kristy. they can't all be picture perfect, but i wouldn't change mine for anything...it certainly wasn't perfect - no down on one knee, hell he didn't even actually ask me until i told him i'd take the ring but i wouldn't marry him until he asked! if you're happy about who you're marrying, then who cares about anyone else?

we're thinking about trying to get away with another couple the week of christmas/new years. we originally said a cruise, but w/ time being of the essence, we didn't want to spend a few days flying from ny to fl or wherever. then we found out that we couldn't really do a cruise for less than $1500/pp +flights and drinks. so my question is: is it possible to go on vacation for around $1000/pp (or less!) around christmas? or are we dreaming the impossible dream?

i like it all up. i put mine up b/c even tho it was feb. and at night, and chilly, i was sweating like a pig while dancing and i didn't want a single hair touching my neck.

i LOVE to wear my hair like that. i used to have one of the things to do it, but it got lost somewhere. someone recently cut the middle out of a body-wash sponge (i'm having a brain fart - loofah?) mine was brown, so if a little hair poked thru, you couldn't tell. but if you got a bright green or white loofah(?) you might need some fake hair. you just put your hair in a ponytail, pull the pony thru the middle of the thingybobber and pin it around the thing. that probably wasn't much help.

that's a helluva dress! so pretty!
