i agree, lisa, moms technically aren't supposed to plan. my sis gave my mom and mil a job, and that was it. i'd definitely talk to fsil about it more...tell her it's NOT what you want, and it's supposed to be your day. OR, would it be possible to have your mom talk to one of them? my mother had to talk to mil AND fil about shower related etiquette. she did it so that i wouldn't have to be the bad guy.

oh the subject of song lyrics... la isla bonita by madonna? i thought it was "last night i dreamt of a bagel" dh thought that "4 minutes" was "i only got 4 minutes to say the word."

i love that show! i love the beginning where the show her belly before she gave birth - it's ginormous!!! i know it's reality tv and all, but they really do act like they can't stand each other....8 kids can do that, i'm sure.

my mother used to turn the clocks forward on new years b/c my sister and i were so determined to stay up. it would really be 9 or 10 and we'd be falling on our faces.

ew, tammy, i don't blame you for wanting to be home cleaning. good thing you have a vet appt. today. our old cat, jin, had worms. we didn't know until he puked them out - looked like spaghetti - and they were moving. trip to the emergency vet that night....

my dv-r is set. i'll be at my in-laws, so i can come home and watch it commercial free!

i'm a teacher and have fabulous benefits, thank goodness. i pay $15 co-pay for every doctor's visit and everything else is covered. if i get pregnant before i am tenured, i'd have to look into disability insurance - that's different, but maybe worth looking into if you're planning to take any time off to spend w/ baby. i have horizon bcbs.

ours was included in our package at dreams, so i don't know who they were. i didn't even hear them. sorry!

our ceremony was from 5-5:30, cocktail hour from 5:30-6:30, and reception from 6:30-11. cocktails and reception were in the same place. we took pics during the coctail hour.

i danced w/ my dad to "i loved her first". i don't like country, but i told him that he could pick whatever he wanted. we talked thru it so he didn't cry too much.
