we were 30. i had 2 round tables of 10, one of 8, and then us. i did assigned seating w/ starfish placecards, and used different color ribbons on the starfish to say who had what meal.

i did not use their photographer, but if it's the same person that did the photographs during the day, they were ok. plain pics, nothing artsy, etc. the videographer was ok - that part wasn't important to us (tho looking back, we wish we had some things on video) and we got what we paid for.

we had the same size boxes. we curled the response around the bottle on the bottom of the box. i think they were about 2x3.5 - a little bigger than a business card. we thought about putting a card in that said respond via our website, but we liked the idea of getting mail

funny, maura, b/c we were actually surprised at the amount of people who came to the wedding that DID give a gift, but also shocked at how many people that didn't come didn't send anything. then again, i only had 30 ppl to your 100! i agree about not writing it on the invites. while i personally wouldn't have done a honeymoon registry, it certainly doesn't belong on the actual invites.

ask your ta to call gaby/diana's boss. her name is gabriela as well. my ta had to call her once to complain about response time. dreams didn't require a deposit when i booked, so i can't help you there!

that is cute. it would have had to be baby pictures for us. thankfully, there are no pics from ages 12-16 for either of us.

this is actually a great gift for someone - a few years ago, my parents got dh 5 different magazine subscriptions for 12-18 months. i think they got him 3 car, 1 snowboarding, and one cooking (which was a women's mag, but my dad picked it). his parents also got him top gear, which is a british car magazine, so a subscription is like $200/yr. he said it was one of the best gifts he had ever received.

awesome! my cousin's grandmother had her eyebrows done a few years ago. i can't imagine doing it on my eyes!!! did you take pics?

ew. i'm kinda grossed out by this. i just told dh about it and he was like "ew, you wash it and stick it back in? that's incredibly disgusting" then he had to go do something manly, like look at a car magazine.

um. they're not my cup of tea...but i'd let it go and make sure to thank her at your shower. i'd also tell my mother that i didn't like them and to please not let her do anything else.

do you already have a good idea about who's coming? if so, and the invite is just a formality, then oct. 1 is fine. however, if you don't know who really is joining you, then i think you should push it back. if you mailed them sept 21, that would give them less than 2 weeks...
