my sister and i looked into it when we traveled in europe. for whatever reason, at the time, it made sense to fly from one place to the next. we did strange cities tho (bologna and faenza, italy; nerka, spain; and dublin, which isn't so strange.)

we did not. we had no use for it and i wouldn't want to store something that i had no use for. we did, at the last minute, register for nicer everyday dishes, but b/c it was last minute, we only got one set, and subsequently returned it. it was the nambe butterfly collection:

i know nothing about rings, but what about an eternity ring w/ round stones? or just round stones on the front? we bought ours from Princess-Cut Diamond Wedding Bands

i have a great story about this: whenever we go out to eat, i put the reservation under dh's first name. i guess it's habit from going out to eat w/ my parents and always using my dad's first name. dh hates it for some strange reason, so i've started using our last name instead. a few weeks ago, we go to a restaurant. the host says, "can i help you?" i said, "yes, reservation for a_____." dh turns to me and says, "why do you ALWAYS use MY name?" i just stared at him until he slowly realized that DUH, it's my last name too!

ok, i'm not going to lie. dh and i are both materialistic people. we like to spend our hard earned money on nice things. of course, i will not die without the chanel ring that i want for my bday, but i still want it. dh has a collection of $$ watches and hundreds of dvds, as well as 2 cars (but he now commutes and takes PT, and drives on the weekend). we love going out for expensive dinners. we would love to add to our collection of "stuff", but we can't. we just can't afford it right now. we have a mortgage, 3 car payments, utilities, cc debt out the wazoo, i have student loans, and am going to back to school for an MEd next week. right now, it's hard to go out to eat once/week to a local cheap restaurant. how are we supposed to stimulate the economy if we have nothing to stimulate it with?! i have no point. just complaining with you.

we did open bar b/c it was the only thing offered as well. if we had paid by the drink, i certainly wouldn't have ordered 30 of our signature drinks and demanded that everyone drank one (except the kids and their pregnant mother - their father drank their 3!). i'd say open bar for an hour or two and then consumption. if i had to do it w/ my crowd (mostly drinkers as well), i'd definitely have open bar for the cocktail hour b/c that's when the most drinks are consumed.

ew I'm sorry! I say ask for all of your money back. Can forever yours overnight it? Have you searched for it on ebay? If not, then you have to think about what's more important-the color or your daughter walking down the aisle...and wine always helps

perez hilton says that the producers of 90210 (2.0) won't release any of the first episode b/c it sucks so much. that would be SUCH a disappointment. nothing will ever be like 1.0, but i hope they make it close. i don't watch gg, but i may start. i just read one of the books and it reminded me of a hs version of cruel intentions, which was a great movie.

i only had 3 girls standing up for me, but there were 7 at my party. 4 of us stayed in a hotel for the night, and the three of them split the cost ($80/pp?). they bought drinks all night, and wouldn't let me buy a single drink. let them do what's right for them, and offer money, even tho they won't take it.

i'll tell you this much - for $14, there better be about $10 worth of liquor! i like the favor idea (jamy's??) - or, sneak some bottles in and hide them under the tables or in big purses i was wondering why you waited to figure this out...but i forgot about molokai. it'll work itself out and you and your guests will have a fantabulous time!

omg i LOVE LOVE LOVE FI's veil! i think he should wear that on your wedding day. it would complete the whole look.

if my choices were either chardonnay or beer, i'd choose beer. if my choice was chardonnay or pino grigio, i'd choose pino every time. a gallon will not get you 18 real drinks. it will get you 18 drinks w/ dixie cups filled w/ ice. it will get you probably about 9 real-size drinks, but you're not pouring... can you bring in alcohol and just pay the bartenders to mix it? or, could you say "i have $x hundred dollars to spend on liquor/drinks. please cut off the open bar when it gets to that amount" ? (just give everyone 3-4 jello shots when they get there. they won't want many drinks after that )

they look good! when i did mine, you could see the transfer paper if i didn't leave the iron on it for a long enough time, but idk if that's the issue here.

if you don't have space, then don't invite them! it's your wedding! i put one invite in the teacher's room and invited my 3 teammates, even though i had only really known them for about 2 months. i knew no one would come, so there was no harm. my teammate just got married in july and only invited 4 people from school.
