i consider myself completely agnostic. my parents sent me to hebrew school, but i quit after a few years...i guess they realized that they couldn't make me believe in something i didn't believe in. we still do the jewish holidays with family, but i was also brought up celebrating christmas - hey, if everyone else is hanging with their families, why shouldn't we?

my phone is jailbroken...dh might have gotten it from another place rather than iphone apps...i just called my sister from my parents, her school, her best friend - all muted so she couldn't hear me. then i asked her (via im) if she wanted me to call to see if it was working right, but i called from her other friend's phone. number and talked to her for a few.. then i called her from my own phone and muted it again. she is now convinced that her phone has a ghost and she needs a priest for an exorcism.

idk where i got this but get spoof123. it allows you to call someone from another number. i just called my sister from my parents and my parents home from their cells and my mom's cell from my dad's cell. i have NEVER laughed SO hard.

i've only seen this for the reception entrance. i think it's too much for a ceremony, considering that each person is probably only walking for less than a minute.

wouldn't everyone's answer just be "anything you're in the mood for"? i had my bms get me mac and cheese, fries, and champagne. i was plain hungry, not nervous.

ok i have a dumb question - mostly for ann - i understand not taking cc, but if the same applies to debit cards that are linked to checking accounts, what do you use to pay? i have no prob sending an actual check, but how is everyone else paying? i have a wedding in oct. that i need to look FABULOUS for. i'm also babysitting all summer for kids that i teach which means run-ins w/ parents at the pool club in a bathing suit....SO, i think i'm in. i need another day to think about it b/c my diet was to start right after thursday night's passover seder...but another week isn't THAT bad....unless my pants split before that.. THAT would be really bad.

i bought platinum solitaire and am obsessed w/ spider (card game). i wouldn't have bought it, but i had an iphone gc. they just came out w/ bookworm for iphones. i have uno and monopoly too. i have atomic fart - you can put it on a timer and shut the phone and then it makes realistic fart noises. i trick and disgust dh all the time

lol, dh would never do that. if i'm making something, he's eating it. i would never expect him to do that for me. now when i say that i'd like to have something for dinner and we haven't talked about it at all, that's when he decides he's in the mood for something completely different. (pot roast and spaghetti )

we've seen most of the movies mentioned. LOVED slumdog millionaire. hands down best movie of the year. we saw rachel getting married, and i thought the whole thing was pointless. zack and miri was amusing, cute movie. tropic thunder was ok. i didn't enjoy watchmen, dh thought it was ok but didn't live up to his expectations. i saw vicky christina barcelona and enjoyed it, dh did not understand it. we watched quantum of solace today - prob one of the worst bond films ever. i HATED revolutionary road - thought it was awful. same with rock and rolla (i think that was the title - the guy ritchie movie) - yuck. donkey punch was ok, but it gave me nightmares. i wasn't expecting a horror film. there are more but i can't think of them right now.

i could be wrong, but i don't think it's a problem getting them into mx, it's getting food back into the us that is normally the problem.

i don't hide anything, and dh doesn't watch too much tv. he does make fun of me for idol and 90210, and he doesn't like hgtv, but again, it's just b/c he doesn't watch much.

i'm kinda with morgan. i enjoyed planning so much that i agonized over my hubby's surprise 30th bday and then a friend's baby shower at my house. i'm now done planning for awhile. i'm in grad school, and so is dh, as of next monday. our lives are relatively boring and uneventful, for which i'm pretty glad. i read a lot of threads but don't have much time to post, esp. in the planning threads...i try to stick to the pv stuff.
