  2. I bet it's elizabeth medina's slideshow. it really fits the description except for the brown dress.

  4. I just found this class at my local community college under adult education. It starts this saturday & runs 8 weekends. I should have my camera by Wednesday in time to get started. I'll start a blog for my pictures & put a link in my siggy (if they don't suck). Photo Outings – $60 This course takes the learning outside. What better place to learn photography? It is recommended that you have a basic understanding of photography, but it is not necessary. This class concentrates on developing your “photographic eye†to take better pictures! Every other class meeting is held at a different location. Learn to take better nature, portrait, action, close-up, architecture, and travel shots on location! After every location shoot, the photos taken are reviewed to improve your ability and understanding of good photography! Learn photography and have fun outdoors doing it! 24 hours.
  5. whoo whoo! I love turbo jam too. Not as much of a fan of hip hop abs.
  6. anyone know what the weather has been like in cancun over the weekend? weather.com won't show the precipitation from yesterday.
  7. I warned the girls on the knot. One called destinationweddings.com and they didn't admit to doing this this was her response from her TA I just spoke with our home office at DW and they assured me it is not us. Many sites have an area called destination weddings and can get confused with us…wasn’t us!
  8. I can't believe you are dealing with this. I am so sorry. If there is anything I can google or phone calls i can make let me know.
  9. doesn't moon palace has a no outside photographer policy? i think right now dreams allows outside photogs for a $50 day pass. i used funjet.com to compare prices easily. it helped to narrow stuff down. with airfare getting so high it helps to save on the hotel.
  10. Thanks guys! She definitly color corrected. I placed my order & I can't wait to see my pictures with the metallic finish.

For an inexpensive, yet decent and versatile lens - try this one. Good luck with everything! yes, that is the plan. Wide angle & flash next. This weekend I'll probably take some pictures in the duke gardens so I should be good with what I have. But, I do plan on placing the next order soon.

I just got an 8x10 group picture & 4 5x7s to display at our AHR.
  13. OK I looked online & it looks like I should not let them color correct. Also, there is a way to turn this off with a shutterfly order. it's called vivid pics. But, i haven't found an easy way to shut it off.
  14. Difference between the 30D & 20D Canon 30D vs 20D - What's Different Three Key Differences First, it helps to realize how similar these two cameras are: They both have the same number of megapixels and the same digital sensor. They are equally responsive, and both feature a 9-point autofocus system. They use the same batteries and the same memory cards. There's no difference in weight or in size. Seems like the 30D is the same as the 20D with a different name. Almost. There are three key features that distinguish the Canon 30D vs. the 20D: Spot metering Buffer size LCD size But, I think youa re asking the difference between the xsi/xti & the 20d/30d. One is that the 20/30d have a metal frame they have more options & settings the xsi/xti have this dust removing sensor that sounds handy. i dont know a lot about the differences. I know the 20/30D weigh a pound more. I googled to find more differences The 5 fps (frames per second) feature is something many sports photographers might not be able to live without. If this describes you, then you’d have no choice but to purchase the EOS30D rather than the slower, 3 fps Rebel XTi. The 30D has more control switches and dials, for example the rear wheel to quickly select among menu options, and a multi-controller that allows easy selection of any one of the 9 focus points. the specs Digital Cameras Side-by-Side, 2 cameras: Digital Photography Review The look very similar. I was open to buying either, but I found the great deal on the 30D.
  15. I'm placing an order from mpix of some of my wedding pictures. do I click the "do not color correct" button or not? I remember Kristie saying something about it, but I can't remember which way it was. it was months ago. She is in Cancun now so I can't call her. Thanks!
  16. I finished the 2nd draft. The link is in my siggy & on the first post. le tme know if it's hard to watch because of all the zooming in & out. I don't want to make it too busy.

He has a headset and his excuse is that it's time with his brother. Luckily, he has been having guys over lately to play some weird game in the basement... I think that's so much better. It's more like once a month and they actually get to see eachother and interact in the real world. gears of war That is the one he plays with his dad. then there is an older game called diablo that he wants to start playing with two friends. He said both of these games are not so much of a time suck. he didn't like how his life got when he was playing so much WOW. Then they started having drama in his guild. he'd be on the mic for hours calming people down that were fighting. it wasn't fun anymore. So him & his friends quit WOW. He switced to the old warcraft for a while. Now he tries to find games that don't require so much from you. If I would try to pop in & visit with him he couldn't talk to me because he was leading an army of warcrafters into battle. With the new games he is great. I don't care if he plays. I'm sitting on the computer on BDW & making photo projects. He says I've spent as much time on here as he spent on WOW, but my argument is that I'm producing something. I planed a whole wedding & now I'm making lots of cool photoprojects for us & for gifts. but, i do agree that I can get just as addicted as he was. For a while I wasn't interested in going out. It was more fun to sit at home on the forum designing my invitations. But, i did still get together with friends to workout. I just prefer to create something on the weekend than to just hangout somewhere. When mike first quit WOW, I almost wanted him to go back. He was all of a sudden in my space, watching my TV (the one that has a tvio) & wanting me to get off BDW. It took me a while to adjust to having him back. I had found a lot of ways to fill my time since he was always busy with WOW & it wasn't easy to just drop it all. I think we have a good balance now.

  19. mine was chiffon (i think) and I was still sweaty. I had to pick up the bottom as we walked across the beach because my legs were hot. I had on a slip & then there was a layer in the dress. It didnt' breath. still I'd wear it again. it wasn't bad. I'm glad I had that flowy layer on top. i love how it photographed with so much movement. it was also pretty in the water.
  20. it's easier to find stuff if you look under it's old name secrets http://www.docancun.com/images/SECEXCMap_ING.gif
  21. Here is a visual image of how far puerto morales is from cancun Puerto Morelos beach photo tour, aerial images is that possibly your hotel on the top? these are old pictures, but I found them to be really helpful for getting to know the area without a site visit.
