I payed for video before I left, but that was only $500 so the fee wasn't bad. Paypal takes a cut which is why she charges a fee. If traveler's checks are an option just do that.

Some GREAT reasons to skip using plastic bags...
rodent replied to Alyssa's topic in Random Thoughts
I use reusable bags at whole foods & trader joes because they make it so easy. I feel like my target isn't as equiped for reusable bags, but I'm going to start using them anyway. I'll help them bag things up if I can. I wanted to give out OOT bags that could be used as shopping bags after the wedding, but the ones i got are too small. I like the kind with a flat bottom. -

I didn't miss anything, but now I miss magic middles, fried apple pies & bonkers. If they were available I'd have one of each for breakfast this morning. It's not candy, but I miss weaight watchers veggie ultimate pizza, the old style. I used to eat one everyday & they changed the recipe to "new & improved." I hate the new flavor. I bought up all the old style ones I could & was so sad when they ran out.

I haven't watched it yet, but I don't mind the spoilers. I was cheering for katee, but I'm very happy for joshua too. He is amazing. It's awesome to see a hip hop dancer win.

I thought until last year that my family was German. my grandma bought out "family crest" out of some catalog & it came with the tale of the Three Brothers B____. They came from germany, got in a fight, moved to the US & changed their names to see who was the most properous. I learned recently we are british & those catalogs sell fake crests & stories. At my wedding I was telling my dad how I learned it was fake & my friend's husband said, "wait, I have the crest of the Three Brothers L___!" We learned that we all got the "three brother special."

Our guests booked a couple of month later & paid $700ish for 3 nights. we got a much better deal.

Once a girl who never had bangs came to school with them and I was so mad that I had been 'tricked' all those years, so I begged my mom for bangs. Finally she took me to a salon, they gave me bangs, and they looked awful. I couldn't wait for them to grow out Ha ha!! OK anything goes. Silly childhood beliefs or ones you still had as an adult. I just like the funny stories. When i was in elementary school I wondered why all old men got the same haircut- circle shaved on the top & v's shaved in the front.

I was listening to a radio show the other day (this american life) & the topic was things you were misled about as a kid & never figured out were wrong until you were an adult. one of the stories was about a lady who thought the School Xing signs was pronounced "School Zing." One day while walking with a coworker through the parking lot 6 geese walked passed them and she said, "they should put a Geese Zing sign there." That is when she learned that Zing isn't a real world. so my friends & I started talking about our stories. I believed that penciles will give you lead poisoning until a few years ago when Mike explained that they had graphite in them and teachers just said the thing about lead poisoning to keep kids from poking each other with penciles. Share your stories...

i can't beleive you are holding back & not posting pictures of your sexy hands I'm on a mission to lose 7 pounds, I just hope they come from my love handles & inner thighs instead of breasts, hands, feet... I know if I'm retaining water my fingers are the first place I notice (because of my ring). Have you cut down on sodium while you lost weight? I never knew how much my hands fluctuated until we got engaged. They get puffy while I hike.

I have one Mccoy pottery piece. it's bobby the baker cookie jar. he looks kind of like the pilsbury doughboy. He came from a crack house after my parents ran off the squaters. before that I had a cookie jar of the pilsbury doughboy that I won in a contest. it came with a years supply of cookies. so to add to my collection my mom gave my a PDB magnet. I think I'm supposed to collect pilsbury doughboys now. Quote: Originally Posted by Davematthews16 Every Christmas we go out and buy the ugliest ornament we can find. We're total dorks!!!!!!!!!! We buy an ornament each year. I pick one & mike picks one. last year he picked out the silliest snowman. you squeeze it & it plays music. we don't even have a tree, but we have a collection of ornaments. I also collect pictures of people with lion statues. I have an album of them. When my friends/family go on vacation they bring them back. I take them with every cool lion I see too. And I collect pictures of college campuses. I have them framed on the wall in a collage. I try to limit my collections to pictures so I don't clutter my place. my place is small & I'm naturally messy.
