Doesn't it feel awesome! awesome! 3.5...you are so close!!! p90x is great. there are certain videos I don't do, but I love the ones I do use. There are more pushups & pullups than I want. I don't follow the program. I just use the videos for a great workout. tonight mike & i did cardio X. I do the legs video & arms video almost every week. My other love is turbo jam I'm starting to look for a boudoir photographer in my area. If i get to my goal weight, i want to take some pictures. It's such a motivation. As I was doing cardio-X tonight I kept thinking about how great it would be to have my old abs back for the pics.

I would have had a better time taking pictures of my nieces & nephews in their costumes. in college, halloween was my favorite day of the year. now I just want to make sure the kids stay off my lawn. kidding- i don't have a lawn.

I had a great weight loss weekend! I did turbo jam on friday night, P-90X leg DVD on saturday, ran a fitness trail sunday morning & did turbo jam again sunday night. the fitness trail is a trail with stations to do various physical things. Like one you bunny hop over logs. there is a sit up station, pull ups, etc. I am also testing out healthy recipes for thanksgiving. so i ate tons of veggies this weekend. I am trying recipies that are mixes of veggies & fruit. I'm 5 pounds from my goal weight as of this morning! thanks ladies. this has been the most motivated i've ever been to eat healthy & workout. the great thing is that I feel better, I'm eating delicious food, & i have lots of energy. once i get over the first couple weeks of pain, being healthier feels so much better. I worked out reguarly before & ate pretty good, but I'm doing so much more now. I've also been avoiding really indulging. before I'd be fairly healthy thoughout the week, but have at least one event every 1-2 weeks where I ate too much.

the blacklight party will be a house full of blacklights & glow in the dark drinks. Not sure if it's getting older. I do find I don't recover well from a late night. i also think the music is too loud. i'd rather sit home, watch my programs, eat some apple sauce, and get a good nights sleep. but, i don't think I'm getting old

I stopped drinking when biggest loser 4 started. before that I barely drank anyway. I also enjoy going to bed early. I think I got it all out of my system in college. with my desire to go to a party so low, if there is any barrier I usually don't make it. that is what happened friday night. however I'm RSVPed for a blacklight party next saturday. I haven't completely given up on my young party-going self.

I don't think I can wait any longer. Saturday morning I fell back asleep instead of getting out of bed. I dreamed that Mike put the phone up to my ear & someone told me I that mccain got 40%, Obama got 40% & now they were counting the absentees. hmmm, i wonder who got the 20%? ron paul? nader? the other guy whos name I can't remember? anyway, i woke up in a panic that I could not wait for the absentee ballots to be counted. I could not wait another day to know the outcome of the election.

I didn't end up going. I was going to get ready with friends & that fell through. I was going to have to drive across town to pick up the dress. The idea of getting ready by myself & crimping my hair without company was more than i felt like doing. I ended up staying home & doing turbo jam instead. I don't really enjoy going to parties anymore, so if it requires too much effort I don't usually make it out.

I hadn't even really thought about if snapfish might be better. These are Christmas gifts, and I really want them to be great! i posted my review above. shutterfly won in all catagories. I was not thrilled with the quality of my snapfish books.

Annoyed photographer... how do I fix? *long*
rodent replied to dursula's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
you are flying in a photographer? then the 1 hour session with the hotel photog probably isn't worth it. you can do a TTD with the photographer you flew in. see if you can swap out for something else. I've seen some girls get the AV equip instead of using the package photographer. what hotel? -
Rhodium-dipped white gold

I haven't had mine dipped in about a year & it still shines. i do take it off when i shower. also chlorine is bad for it. a jeweler can also to a thinner or thicker coat. thicker lasts longer. -

I might do this if my current plan doesn't work.

I wuv her too! I really like labradoodles. no shedding is awesome. Does she play well with ferrets?

awesome! i'll check it out. I know where to get 40% off coupons. i would not have thought of photocorners. I think I'll print small pics (maybe 2 per 4x6) and leave a white border around them. Then stick them on a blank card with the photocorners. i'll either run it through the printer or write on it. I was thinking about using black cards & the pens that can write on black. I think this will be fun. i'll be much more excited about sending a card that I made. I'm going to get started on collecting the pictures to print. I'm sure there will be a few ferrets in the mix. i will probably use mostly funny animal pics.

do you print them yourself? I had been ordering them from shutterfly, but it takes some time so I don't always do it. plus i have to think ahead for them to arrive in time. also, i don't have pictures i could use for everyone. I just started thinking of a blank card that I can attach a picture to. so then i'd just need to order prints to pick up at target. maybe like those funny cards that have a B&W old picture on the front. maybe the picture won't be of the person, but of something funny i pulled of the internet.

i have been terrible about sending out birthday cards. Also, having the number I need to send double by getting married makes it that much harder. I used to go to hallmark & spend 1-2 hours picking out the perfect card for everyone. I'd do them all at once so it just took one trip. I haven't been keeping up with that lately. I hate spending $3 on a card that I don't love. And I don't like sending out generic birthday cards that come in a box. So I was thinking about making my own b-day cards. I wanted to design them on my computer & upload them to a website to print. I've done this in the past where I made a personalize card for each person. but it was pretty time consuming so I don't always get around to it. then i don't send anything. My other idea was to make 1 version of a card that I could use for all the b-days. I'm worried that might not be personal enough. but then I think it's more personal than those boxed sets of bday cards. I might need a few different cards so people in the same family don't get the same one. One I had was to spell out Happy Birthday with the photography alphabets I've collected. Any ideas?

thanks everyone! although I think I must have been dehydrated or something when i weighed yesterday, because i lost more weight that seems right. I'll see next week if it was a fluke. still I'm feeling very motivated!! hmm now that i think about it my jeans are feeling loose. I just don't see a weight drop. i think it might be too hard to see it myself. I should probably take another picture to compare to my Before pic.
