  7. yes, I planned on doing the little wrap around the pony tail. My hair is wet & in a bun as I type. I'm going to try the other ways this weekend. I had to start with the easiest. I'm tempted to photoshop in your head, abbie.

  10. I'm trying to figure out my BM hair for the next wedding i'm in. My hair will be really long by then. I want to wear it up & fix it myself. It's a casual outdoor wedding. I want to do a high ponytail & curl it into one big spiral curl. this is the closest picture i can find I don't want lots of curls. Just one big twist. How do you do that? I tried with a curling iron & straightener but it's too much hair to put in at once.

  13. hate me if you want, but I'm taking off brad pitt for one, it's such a cliche to have brad pitt on the list. two, he was really annoying on oprah the other day. some lady asked what his tattoos meant & he said something about it being a special experience between him & angelina to get tattoos together and was too personal to share. If it's so private, don't have it written on your arm. it was just obnoxious. three, i'm on team aniston. she was awesome on 30 rock i also took off robert downy junior. he didn't get removed before when someone said they were removing him. 2. 14. i just read the description of The Reader. sounds great! I was able to get it for $4 used on amazon so I ordered two. OK, i need to quit buying books until I see we are actually going to read them together. I also ordered I, Claudius today. a coworker suggested it. It is written as an autobiographical memoir by Roman emperor Claudius. There is also a tv series we can watch together after we read it. Mike & I have really different interests, so it's really fun when we have an overlap. We rarely watch the same tv shows or movies & we read very different books. I joke that the only thing we have in common is that we both like LOL cats. Even that we have gotten tired of.

Me and my DH also do the two book thing. Especially when we were dating long distance we read to each other. But I'm a book whore. I can't wait to see this movie. There's alot of reading in the book and they brought it into the movie so it should be good. I definately recommend this! I read everything on WWII. So if you need any historical fictions of this time period I have quite a few to recommend. I go through my whole library shelves and they have to order more. Haha! But definately check out The Reader! oops i may have been too quick to count it out because it was an oprah book. All of the oprah bookclub books i've read before were too feminine for me to imagine mike enjoying them. I had a friend that I swapped books with & she bought all the oprah books. I like oprah, i just didn't like most of the books. so is the reader set during WW2? I told mike about the books i ordered today & he sounded interested. Do you also buy 2 copies? I thought that might be a waste, but I think we'd want to read at the same time some nights.

The trailer of the movie made me want to read the book, so it might be a great one. Amazon.com: The Reader (Oprah's Book Club): Bernhard Schlink: Books I might read it myself, but I think mike would be upset if I tricked him into reading an oprah book club book.

Lots of character development. hmmm 1,000 pages. I don't think I've ever read something so long. We went to london last year so it would be fun to read a book set there. both sound very good. I'll see how the first 2 go & if our mike & morgan book club goes well I'll get more. So keep the suggestions coming

I was actually reading a thousand splendid suns the day we got engaged i wish mike enjoyed books like that, but I don't know that he would. it's so much fun when you are wrapped up in a good book & can talk about it with friends. I hope these two books appeal to both of us so we can have the fun of reading something together. it's easy to run out of things to talk about when we see each other everyday.

I'll get 2 copies of that & two copies of this Amazon.com: Dr. Seuss: American Icon: Philip Nel: Books it's a biography of dr. seuss. I hope our book club is fun! it would be great to have something like this to do together. My mom's tip for getting a man to read is to leave a good book above the toilet. maybe you can try that with john. but, it has to be the right kind of book. like a collection of short stories.
  20. i want to buy 2 copies of a book for mike & i to read together. The problem is we have very different tastes. I like fiction with an emphasis on character development. favorite books of mine are The Kiterunner & Middlesex. Mike likes historical non-fiction. He reads lots of world war 2 books, but he is interested in all periods of history. So i'm looking for where we overlap. I think we'd both enjoy a biography or maybe historical fiction. Any suggestions?
