If your having the reception in the "pure chill out bar" there is a sidewalk and it's sturdy ground within the bar so no problems there.. check out my hair and pics done by Lincoln and Lori from "Moments that matter".. they're amazing!!!! They are offering their services to that area of Mexico and EVERYONE in our party pf 40 all agreed they were incredible! Wedding Photographer Mexico , Cancun , Playa Del Carmen , Mayan Riviera so there is a real salon there now? when i was there in june, the hairstylist came from town to my room.

The walk for your grandfather might be too long especially in sand. They should be able to put something down so he can use his chair right up to the site and then walk you thru the guests! That would be nice. This resort is very nice... and small so if you do have to run back to your room for stuff, it’s very close. Lots of great photo spots! I would also suggest getting the Pure Chill Out bar for your reception. They decorate it very nice and it looks fantastic at night. Let us know if you have any more questions. Lincoln *& Lori I love seeing pictures from the catalonia!
  5. great, it's a sidewalk all the way to the pure chill out bar (formally the looky bar)
  6. http://vimeo.com/1461221 my video I just watched the walking down the aisle part. I think my dad's wheelchair is parked by the DJ setup, so he must have taken it out on the sand. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t22483 the catalonia thread with tons of pictures.
  7. There isn't a salon at the hotel, but they arrange for someone to come to your room. I paid $75 for an updo. I took pictures of what I wanted & was really happy with what she did. My dad is in a wheelchair & can walk a little bit with a walker or on his own on a good day. My mom walked me down the aisle because i thought it would be too hard for my dad to do it. My brother helped my dad out to the ceremony site. I'll post my video so you can get an idea of what it would be like. Definitly do an outside photographer. The hotel photography was not impressive at all. the mexican & itallian restaurants and the creperie are in an upstairs area. There is a ramp, but it is pretty steep. I was worried about my dad rolling down it but he said it was fun. I was so nervous about my dad having a good time in a wheelchair & he loved it. We got him a handicap room and it had a view of the swimming pool. I'm not sure if it would be hard to get to the pure chill out bar. I can't remember if there was a sidewalk leading to it of if it was steps. That might be hard to get to in a wheelchair. I know I took a picture of it though. I'll post some links...

I gave away all my templates to help out members who in turn help members. Just book mark the thread & come back to it when you have enough points. I'm not trying to be mean, but just explain to people why we do it this way. Some of us who have shared a lot of templates get PMs pretty often from people asking us to email them things. It doesn't take a huge amount of time to locate the file, wait for it attach to an email & send but it takes time and if you do it for everyone who asks you are spending a lot of time on this. I also have my wedding stuff archived so I'd have to track it down.

He was cropped out of the song. something about their production companies. I think it was just so many years later someone wouldn't be too embarassed at their wedding when the song started to play. but, hey now it's your special song & that's always fun. someone else had the tootsie roll playing at their wedding.
  15. Wouldn’t do: • Let my WC choose a song for the signing of the marriage register. DH & I came loaded with music but when she asked if she could choose a special song for us we gave in. Suddenly during our ceremony Jessica Simpson was singing “Take My Breath Away†which is totally not our style. But it is hilarious in retrospect! And even funnier, the guy in charge of the CD player continued to replay it throughout our mini-reception. We did finally ask him to change the disc! at least it wasn't to original version of the song that opened with nick lackey saying, "baby, you take my breath away."
  16. They are on tour. I'm going in to a show in march I don't check the site often, but I still think it will be a fun show. I really like Found, Passive Agressive notes & cake wrecks.

  18. my gym shut down a few years ago. i switched to all at home workouts with a variety of dvds. I love it. it's nice to not have to leave home. I do the workouts on my portable dvd player so i can watch tv. i like some of the p90x videos. my husband does them all, but i only do a few. love tubo jam. I have a couple taebo videos. I'm also really in to MTV power yoga lately. All I need for this is a set of 5-8 lbs weights & a yoga mat. there are workout dvds on netflix if you want to try them first. the beachbody line isn't on there (p90x, turbo jam, hip hop abs), but they do a free trial.

I'm looking into Dos Ojos Cenote for ours. If we can't go there we will probably go to Gran Cenote. I just wanted something different, no offense toward you, but something i hadn't seen from anyone else. I LOVE your photos and all your input on the cenotes is so great and definitely appreciated. Morgan, thank you for doing pictures at a cenote, you have inspired me! oh no it didn't come off mean at all. I was just throwing that out there so you didn't feel so dissapointed to know that the vine pic came from a cenote too far away. And I'm excited to see pictures come back from different cenotes. We only did gran cenote because we had a trip planned there already before we planned to TTD. I also fell inlove with a picture of ik kil. there is a picture of a beam of light shining down on the water. I was dissapointed to see that it was so far off too.
