Our hotel does night shows that I've heard are pretty good. I saw some clips of them doing chicago, grease & dirty dancing. They also have a casino night that I know she'll enjoy. I'm just trying to figure out a way for her to see the jungle. I read on Xcaret's website that only 60% of the park is wheel chair accesible. Is it actually less than that? Are there places where you can just pay to take a boat down the river through the jungle?

I think she wants the wheelchair to use in the airport until they finish with customs. She won't need it the rest of the trip. Do they provide that service at the airport for free? Thanks so much for the information! Then I'm looking for fun things in RM that wouldn't be hard for her to do. I was thinking Xcaret could be nice because she could rent a wheelchair if she needed it.

Yeah, 2 1/2 hours of driving for a free photography session is nothing.

I just found out my grandma is planning on going to the wedding! I never thought she'd want to make the trip, but she is excited about it. She said she wants to see the jungle, but doesn't want to walk a lot. Any ideas for fun stuff my grandma could do? I was wondering if Xcaret would be good. I saw something where you ride a boat down the river. They also have wheelchairs to rent for $15. She doesn't use a wheelchair, but it might help for that day. Has anyone ever rented a wheelchair at the airport? My parents are thinking that would make the airport & customs easier for her.

Oh, and upstate NY is like buffalo & albany. I used to think everyone from New York was from a big city. I think people from upstate NY are quick to say that because its so different from NYC, but when a lot of us here New York we think of NYC.

I always feel that way on forums. I was scared to post here the first time & then shocked when I didn't get rude comments. I started posting more & more & then realized no one was going to attack me. I think that's why I'm hooked- the forum is so friendly. I read another forum pretty often. I'm too scared to ever post because it seems like some people are on the forum just to insult other people's post. If you ever dare post something that someone else had already posted you get a bunch of "repost" messages.

The First Family Fight...Children at the Wedding

Everyone has really different views of what a wedding should be & people always have something to be critical of. So I guess you do just have to stop worrying about other people & do what makes the two of you happy. Still, I think it's always important to be considerate of guest, but you don't have to cater to them. You want them to enjoy the wedding after all. -
The First Family Fight...Children at the Wedding

I was once the brattiest flower girl ever, so it would be wrong of me to not invite kids. I personally love seeing kids at a wedding. I think people have very different views of their dream wedding. Some think of it as their big day to shine other think of it as a fun day with celebrate with family. I guess it should be what you want because it is your day, but I know if I was a parent it would upset me. Maybe it's not fair, but I don't think I'd go to a wedding my kids were not invited to. I made a big effort to pick out a kid friendly hotel where kids stay free. Everyone has said they don't plan on taking kids so they can make it a romantic weekend. I think it will be more fun that way so we can all stay out late or travel around more, but I wanted to make it their choice. I'm not saying that's the right thing to do, but I would feel bad to do it any other way. -

I think the rain is usually just a brief shower in that area. Do that have a backup spot for your wedding if it does rain? I've heard some hotels have a patio area with curtains for nice outdoor parties in the rain. I've seen some pictures from rainy weddings. Everyone had a black umbrella. They were amazing pictures. Sometimes the rain is really nice too because it just sprinkles a bit & the weather is much cooler. -

I don't know which one you plan on doing. Isn't it adults only too? Don't know if thats a problem.

The pattern seems a little different for mexico because charter flights get added later. But I'd think a flight 11 months in advance would be high.

I scanned your old post but couldn't find anything. Is this the boxer puppy you wanted?

I agree. This is how we are trying to think of it. That way you don't feel like you owe your guest some huge production. I think most people are excited about the vacation anyway. -

Here is a video about how to get started using Movie Maker. Ayumi_WindowsMovieMaker_Tutorial_P1 and here is a pdf of how to use movie maker http://www.coe.wayne.edu:16080/pt3/T...sMovie1_05.pdf I thought I had the picture overlay thing figured out, but it just looked like picture in picture on a TV.

How long is it? I think photobucket will only store a 10 minute video. If you want to make a longer video you can use onetruemedia.com. Its $3.99 per month. I'm finding some great stuff on Movie Maker about movie maker. I feel like I'm close to being able to make the transparent image on another picture. I will share it once I do it.

Windows Movie Maker: How to use Here is the website to get you started on how to use Movie Maker. Its pretty user friendly so you might be able to figure it out just by clicking around. Depends on how much you use a computer. I'm starting to explore this page to find cool effects to add to my program. WindowsMovieMakers.NET for Microsoft Windows Movie Maker 2 Enthusiasts.

I started a thread about using Windows Movie Maker http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...tml#post107735 -
Inspired by this awesome wedding video(YouTube - Levi and Christinas Wedding) , I have started to play with Windows Movie Maker to learn how to make something like that. I thought it would be useful to start a thread about using Movie Maker so we can teach each other how to get the most out of the program. Movie Maker is already on your computer if you have Windows XP. I found it pretty easy to start using without reading how to do it. Now I'm trying to learn how to do more advanced stuff. I'll look for a good description to post about getting started. This is what I made on my first attempt. It was much easier than I expected. Video of Engagement - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting This is my video after I downloaded new zoom & panning techniques. Video of Engagement 5 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting I just found out a way to zoom in on specific things & to pan across the picture. I had to download an addition to the program from here to do that. Rehan Pan Zoom Effects You can try it free for 15 days. After that its $8. It was really easy to download & use. The new effects are available in the "effects" menu. My current project is finding out how to overlay pictures where the one on top is transparent. I'll post if I figure out how to do it. UPDATE Use this for hosting your video Vimeo, Video Sharing For You UPDATE I've been told photostory is much easier to use to make slideshows. I haven't used it. it should be a free download if you have windows.
