Great! I'm glad you were able to use the codes. I love it! A temporary photobook to give you your photobook fix for a while. Check you inbox for an email from them. I got one yesterday offering free shipping for 3 days. It might be random who they send them to. It's not transferable or else I'd send it to you. -
Mexico: Cancun - Peak of the season - Climatology of Caribbean Hurricanes - 1851-2006 November doesn't look bad. I don't really like this graph. I hope I read it right, but to me it seemed like June isn't a risky month. Sometimes I wish we picked May.

They came in today & look great! I can't wait for Mike's mom to get her copy. -

November is still season. There is a lot of info on hurricane season on the forum somewhere with statistics for the different months. I decided June was safe enough. I hope I was right.

How many guests will you have?

I know they are people who really want to go to mexico so I imagine they will be fun to have around. Mostly, it's guests who want to bring a friend or family member with them. It's totally fine with me. They are paying a bunch to fly to mexico, so I feel like they should get to go with whoever they want. It's also fine since I'm not having a private reception, so these extra guests don't cost me anything. Well, I'll make them OOT bags, but that won't be a big expense. It makes me happy to know that people who would feel no pressure or obligation to come to my wedding want to be there. I know they are probably excited about mexico not the ceremony, but that's still cool. -

I'm thinking about giving photoshop a shot for a while, because I already have it. I've been wanting to get better at it for a long time. I also use photoshop at work sometimes, so it would be good for me to improve my skills.

She can send you the link to the software if you want to pay. If you plan on making your own album down the line, you may as well invest in the software now? I've tried Lumapix (the software sarah uses). I'm just wanting to figure out all the options before I buy something. It sounds like Lumapix is the best & I imagine I'll cave & buy it eventually. I need to confirm that I can transfer the pages to shutterfly first.

There is a free trial you get get to play with it. I don't know if it's available for Macs. I downloaded the trial last week. It wasn't as simple as other programs, but that's because it lets you do so much more with your pictures. I'm used to being stuck in a template. I'm tempted to buy it, but I'm going to wait & decide later. I love playing with digital pictures.

Rebecca, I love your montage. What software do you use to make it?

I am truely shocked at how many people want to come. I have no idea how many we'll have. I've counted 60 people who are interested. Originally I was thinking we'd have 30 max. The number keeps growing every day. We aren't having a private reception, so I'm not worried about how many people want to come. We are sending everyone an invitation to the wedding & AHR. I wasn't really excited about the AHR. Flying off to mexico was a way to avoid having a reception. Now we are planning on having a BBQ in a park. I'm way more excited about that. -
I always avoided men with the last named Morgan. Morgan squared? There wouldn't be a good way to handle that.

How much did you / are you paying for photograhy?

I don't know how to find out their names or look at portfolios. I am really torn about what I should do. I feel a great photographer is worth every penny, but I am also trying to be strong about sticking to the budget I set for myself. I have a lot of friends attending who take great amature pictures, including the guy who did our engagement pictures, so I feel like they will capture some good pictures. I know it won't compair to the work you guys do, though. -

Did you use a resort photographer or a local photographer? Your price seems to low, but I think your pictures are wonderful. Kelly, I think you got some amazing pictures even though you were not happy with your photographer. Your TTD pictures are awesome, but I think the ones from your wedding day are great, too. I absolutely love pictures & having great pictures is really important to me. But, I'm trying not to spend over $5000 on the wedding, including the after parties, travel & everything. So I think we will be hiring the hotel photographer. It's $600 for 100 5x7 pictures & the negatives. I'd rather have a CD of the pictures, because I play with pictures on my computer all the time. For any photographers reading this, please don't think I'm saying photography isn't worth the money. If there was anything I could cut back on in my budget to allow more for pictures, I'd do it. But I think I have everything budgeted as low as possible. I'm planning on finding some people who have used the hotel photographer to see what they thought. I'm also going to look into finding an inexpensive, local photographer. -

are you using gel pens that can sign on black? I really like the black & white pictures on black pages. Your cat is too funny. Cat's always have to be on top of whatever you are working on. -
My new shutterfly photobook
rodent replied to rodent's topic in General Wedding Planning Information
My grandma got her book yesterday. She loved it. My mom is borrowing it today to take to work with her to show her friends. My grandma said she had already looked at it 100 times. This is what I love about planning my wedding. So many opportunities to do something special for my family. I ordered a copy for me & a copy for Mike's parents. I changed the background to green & changed the cover to suede. I'm making my dad one now that is a combo of the engagment pictures, our kid pictures I used for a mother's day book, and pictures of my brother & his girlfriend. -
I'll make mine more intersting later, but for now here is one picture. I love the new game!

the girls at sephora told me "makeup forever" photographs well. The powder was $22. I didn't buy it, because I'm still shopping around for my june wedding. I did my own makeup for our engagement pics, because we wanted to get an early morning start before the gardens were full of people. Taking blotting paper is a great idea. We were so hot & we kept wiping our sweat off with paper towels. We'd get them mixed up after each shoot. It was gross. I wish I had brought towels with us.

Well, falling off the wagon is never pretty and I've been doing really really bad lately. So, I need to get back in the gym- it does help! You've probably done this all before, but have you tried lighter weight more reps/sets? I also have a lot of exercises with no weights that are still really intense.
